(Personal) Problems with culture change in Europe due to immigration

You said it very well.

That's their goal.

The Globalists.

This is exactly what they're striving for.

A one world government.

Don’t mistake my words dude, I’m not some right-wing conspiracy nut. There’s no secret cabal of Jews plotting to destroy the white race or whatever. What’s going on is the result of unconscious and structural economic forces, not any conscious political effort.

I just think the lack of willingness to criticise the problems with ethnic enclaves, zero loyalty to your adopted country etc is a huge blindspot for the left that needs to be addressed. I can individually care about Muslim people and not want them discriminated against whilst understanding the huge cultural gaps between blue-tier Middle Eastern countries and Orange/Green-tier Western countries. More needs to be done to encourage integration and cultural cohesion rather than this haphazard bullshit we’re seeing now (and leading to general social malaise, distrust etc.)

I know you weren't pointing to that.

Your words were just perfect for it though.

I cant imagine moving to a new country with the goal of becoming a citizen and not making at least some effort to integrate into the wider community/culture. If I moved to Japan for instance I would strive to learn Japanese, follow Japanese social rules, etc.

The fact that so many of the political elite seem to be OK with ethnic enclaves forming is just baffling to me. If someone can move to Holland, without speaking Dutch, not taking on Dutch customs, yet still be considered “completely Dutch”, doesn’t that mean being “Dutch” means nothing at all? That “countries” are just arbitrarily landed areas with no common feeling, language, ideas, etc?

I support immigration. I even think the ethnic part of anti-immigration debates is just low-tier racism (an Asian- or Mexican-American is fully American to me, despite not being part of the white majority for instance), but there needs to be SOME expectation to create a common identity. Otherwise why even have countries? Why even have identities? Let’s just destroy everything and live on some “global corporate zone,” right? 🙄

Nations are definitely more than governed areas. But modern countries are moving away from it towards non-ethnic states, which btw the USA was founded as, if I remember correctly.

Maybe an analogy: Imagine working in a company, where parts of your office speak other languages, they flock together and make secret arrangements, some steal from the coffee kitchen, inventory, etc, and the company policy is that it is ok, as long as enough money is being made this year.

Honestly, I think that governments in Europe welcome immigrants, because they need them to make up for the low birth rates, for demographic decline. You need people to work the minimum wage, dirty and blue collar jobs.
Maybe that is the neoliberal rational for opening up to mass-immigration, to keep the economy floating.
