Lol my friend had a rabbit growing up. They had a rabbit lead and used to take it on little walks. I found it super cute

Some rabbits will let you do that! Most of them will reject being led for a walk and try to eat the leash instead though, or promptly find the nearest tree or bush to hide by.

Probably at least every 1-2 years, I see a person walking their cat on a leash too. I assume that it is probably a rare kind of cat as well. Cats are like rabbits in that if they dislike it from the outset, they're not likely to do it, though you might still be able to clicker train them.

There's a super sweet and smart cat in my neighbourhood who is "walked" outside without a leash entirely by following her owner's very occasional verbal commands. She always responds and follows of her own accord, and usually either walks about 10 feet behind or in front of her owner.  Never seen that one before!

I had a cat a year ago, and it was pretty difficult. When you live alone, a cat still needs social interaction, and if you have to go out and leave them alone, it can be hard for them. You also need to have enough time and money to take care of them and spend time with them.

I recommend only if you don’t live alone!

Only get a dog if you're working from home and you can be with it all day.

Do not get a dog if you're gonna leave it at home for 10 hours a day in isolation As you go to work.

They are not built to be alone, they all have separation anxiety.

How is this post just me acting out my ego in the usual ways? Is this post just me venting and justifying my selfishness? Are the things you are posting in alignment with principles of higher consciousness and higher stages of ego development? Are you acting in a mature or immature way? Are you being selfish or selfless in your communication? Are you acting like a monkey or like a God-like being?
