breaking the separation

If you've done that why are you still writing a wall of text in a thread to criticize a book and humiliate the people who are interested in it? You're still talking to yourself; you're falling into the trap.

Now all of this is easy to say, it's an easy persona to adopt when you're on the comfortable side of things; when you're not ugly, disabled, living in poverty etc.

It's true that we're rational by nature. Now Joe Dispenza for example, regularly helps people recover from illnesses that are often considered incurable. Unless you think his YouTube channel and the hundreds of testimonials are some kind of digital Potemkin village lol.

I personally know someone who has witnessed people being healed of conditions such as Parkinson's disease, someone else who managed to meet fruitarians, people who could change the weather, who could make women appear out of nowhere to have sex with them lol, and so on.

If I understood what you wrote well

And why they are here and what anything means? Ultimately there is no reason, no meaning, any reason or meaning are relative. That's the problem of ACIM, that reveals knowledge like that you are here for experiencing love or anything, when you are here because you are, and this form is a possibility that is possible now.

Real enlightenment is being open to what you ultimately are, to the unlimited that is. If you create a structure in your mind that is: I'm loved and I'm here for x, you are creating a closure. No structure is the only way to let the absolute shinning in the now. Any structure is a door, no door is small, any door closes, openess means total absence of closure. You could say that this is humility, since you have to abandon any belief, any hope, to open the door of your mind to the unlimited vastness that is.

All correct brother. In the beginning, we need to tell people you have meaning and you have purpose. Else there is no way forward and no way out of madness. It's a device, a slap, a ruse, to jolt people from their solid conviction about life and the world. Everyone thinks I know what life means and I know the reason that makes life worth living - and if they don't they spend time discovering it. So the Course yes you do have meaning and purpose. And it sets them on the road. It gives one's life a better meaning and purpose. The better meaning is I am of God and the better purpose is I shall realize this. Then step by step you have to stop correcting the ego thoughts with beneficial thoughts - I am not better than you with I am the same as you. It is ego neutralization if you will. Don't fight ego. When it rears it heads, you see it and say this isn't for me and moment by moment I am going to choose peace. Openness as you call it, is the result.

When we help a lost soul, we are only helping ourself. All I meet are me in disguise. A purpose in life is to figure out who of my selves out there am I going to benefit today. It is a very hard question. For me it boils down to, is my few minutes devoted to them going to make a jot of difference? A human cannot truly know the answer as to whether they can assist another human. Therefore do whatever is helpful to your own evolution. The more awake I am, the more light I shine.

Just because I read part this book and others and I only got confusion. In my opinion if anyone want to talk about spirituality, they should be absolutely true without the slightest deviation, absolutely straight to the point without a single word that points to any mistake. If not they are introducing in the people's mind barriers.

Thoughts are the consequence of your structure, you can't change your structure changing your thoughts, or at least for me doesn't work

I ordered the book roughly 11 years ago around the beginning of my spiritual journey. I read maybe a chapter in but wasn’t comprehending much so I shelved it for 9 years. Picked it back up for another go at the start of this year and was able to get a tiny bit more out of it but still pathetically little. Of course it doesn’t help that now I’ve got mild brain damage from doom scrolling and habitual gooning to pixels which I’m now trying to recover from. It’s so damn thick and wordy my brain just can’t.

The Course says thoughts are existence. There is no tree, no thee, no me. Does the tree exist? No it's an absolute hallucination. And more scarily same for me. So what to do? Correct the thought that there is a you separate from me and a me separate from you. Thoughts are generated to keep one stuck here. Watch them, drop them, Thoughts will never throw in the towel and quit. That is okay since they no longer have my endorsement and identification. When they arise anew, they have less and less power. Abiding in this open state makes one available to the all in all. For me life is now completely benign no matter what is happening around me. I bear no ill will nor see anyone in a bad light. I am happy to die like this, either today or 50 years away.
