If reality is a hallucination, then whatever you consciously hallucinate becomes your reality. 

We can think of it even in this way, reality is infinite, hence infinite possibilities, if you focus your mind and pay attention to that which gives you opportunities to actualize your vision, you'll end up actualizing your vision. 

We can call it the law of focus. Whatever you focus on, you end up achieving. Your psychology, self-esteem, inner mindset,etc... are the primary factor in determining your success. 

Therefore yes, believing in yourself has always proven to work, and is a prerequisite for success.

the problem with manifestation was hot girls teaching normal girls to just manifest, while they don't get the same opportunities of course. Life is still real and you will still have bullshit happening, it is more how you react to it and how you deal with it. If simply being super positive would bring in millions, then Leo would be a trillionaire as he claims to have the highest level of consciousness. This is just not the reality so it is nuanced, not black and white.

I love that this has become such a big deal on this site lol. Definitely seems like believers are the minority here, which is a little surprising to me to be honest. I personally don't believe much in intentional manifestation, but maybe unintentional manifestation sometimes happens.

I think that, regardless of anything else, visualizing yourself as being successful at whatever field you want to succeed at, works. Since visualizing myself confidently flirting with women I've gone on two dates, after a pretty long dry spell.
