Manifestation is Bullshit

I think people who believe in manifestation are actually more likely to succeed in things because they have an optimistic disposition and they are taking opportunities as they see them. It's basically impossible to believe in manifestation and not do anything in order to manifest what you would like to happen. Because even if you want to manifest something ridiculous like money magically appearing inside your bank account, you would have to open your bank account to know that (and you will probably be proactive in that). Optimistic disposition, looking for opportunities, being proactive about achieving an outcome, that's a mode of being that trickles down into everything you do (and you will do a lot in the course of a lifetime).

Totally agree, even though it is a bit delusional, it's still a more powerful way of living and will bear more fruits than being nihilstic or a victim simply because people who "manifest" are open minded, optimistic, and creating the possibility of something profound to happen. Victims and bitter people are closed off to any "magic" appearing.

1) You admit that self-concept is very important and does bring results. This is something you can manifest. For the success with women example, you can listen to subliminals for attracting women (if you don't know, these are audios with affirmations put in at a very low volume to target your subconscious). Alternatively, you can affirm "I have great success with women" or "Every woman is attracted to me." This will make you believe it if you do it consistently with an open mind.
The point is that you're making your mind believe something without evidence and then it tries to make the thing come true. This is way more effective than cold-approaching hundreds of girls to try to build up "hard-earned" confidence. Nope, just tell yourself you're already great with women!

2) The person in the video claims that they manifested things which could easily be acquired through action. That makes it easy to be skeptical. A manifestation believer will believe her, but a skeptic won't.

The way to bypass this is by manifesting something physical -- something that would require an absurdly lucky coincidence or breaking physical laws to happen. If it works, then you've proved manifestation definitively. The problem is that you're being too lazy to try this out seriously and would rather insist manifestation is nonsense, probably because your ego would be upset if it realized effort is actually pointless.

@BlessedLion you didn't respond to my points.

What is this? That's the only question.

Manifestation has the same sort of issue that religion has. It is deeply clouded by all sorts of misconceptions. Is manifestation (law of attraction) real? It is but not how it is often defined by social media. It is deeply misunderstood and people confuse themselves with their expectations and emotions and mystical fantasies. Law of attraction quite simply put is allowing spirit and intentions aligned with truth to shape your life. Influencers then rope in all sorts of nonsense with that including all sorts of crazy promises to sell you a course.
