Apparently everything is the source or the absolute. There's only everything which is the source itself.

Nobody knows why? Because it did or it is!

THIS happens in infinity. All matter happens in absolute.

There doesn't need to be a reason.

The source of reality is the absence of limits, and the reason for the relative happening is that it's possible because there are not limits, then inevitable.

There is no higher source or creator to explain it.

It is exactly what it is. We could use words like "organism, mammal, human, entity, form, flesh & bone" but the words aren't the thing.

Mammal and that are comparative local definitions, what is happening are relative patterns of existence. That's what you are. Then, as a relative pattern of existence, what you ultimately are is the existence itself organized in a relative pattern. You could be focused in the pattern or in the existence itself. The existence itself is the unlimited that is because it's unlimited. If you open yourself to it, everything would be absolutely clear.

5-MeO can shatter the centrality of the self. The first time it happens, it feels like an extremely traumatic, bizarre event, like blasting something solid apart with dynamite.

In my opinion, repeatedly shattering the self with 5-MeO tends to soften it. The problem arises if you introduce mystical interpretations; essentially, it is simply breaking the centrality of the self, which then reconstructs itself.

By observing this process over time, the self gradually becomes more flexible. However, the goal is to achieve this without 5-MeO, because the substance involves a significant element of violence, of something forced, and a large part of the self defends itself by concocting stories.

It’s interesting how you’ve taken 5-meo plenty of times and describe it in simple way, while Leo has also taken it a bunch of times and describe it in more complex ways. I suspect one’s psyche in everyday life can influence the trips and also how it’s talked about afterwards.

It’s not about the psyche, but the objective. For me, the matter was crystal clear from the start: it’s about breaking the wall. I tried 5-MeO once, then looked for information and found this forum; I chose that username because the nature of this movement was totally obvious: the shattering of all structures.

I didn't know exactly why or what I’d find; I just knew there was a wall and I wanted to break it. Perhaps behind the wall lay nihilism and absolute horror, but the wall was coming down. I didn't want to understand what reality is or how it’s created, only to break through all the psyche's barriers.

The distinction is fundamental: if you focus on breaking the psyche's barriers, you can do it. If you focus on understanding how reality is created, you are focusing on the creation of a structure. Any structure is relative, whatever it may be. The only absolute is non-structure. This is completely obvious, and I find it very strange that it isn't obvious to everyone.

The absolute cannot be conceptualized or understood because it has no limits; you can break the limits and be the absolute. It’s very simple. If you open yourself to the absolute, you know your limitless essence by embodying it; in doing so, you realize that any structure is merely a possibility adopted by the limitless.

It is utterly impossible for a god with intentionality to exist, because such a god would be limited by that very intentionality. The realization of a "creator god" is an ego expansion that occurs when you cant dissolve the ego, because you are so deeply attached to it that you transform the ego into God. It couldn't be more obvious.

The mind needs a creator god with will to form a stable framework; without that, it cannot find balance. The reality is that the creative foundation of reality is limitlessness, and enlightenment is opening yourself to total limitlessness without any mental grasping, without a self, without a center.

This is not easy; it is impossible to conceive of, and it is terrifying to the ego. If it happens, you are neither someone nor something; you are limitlessness and that is everything. it is absolute fullness. If you ask, "What lies after death?" the answer is: absolute limitlessness. the same as before death. It is always that; reality is that.

Nobody becomes limitless.

It's limitless for nothing and nobody, so to even call it limitlessness, doesn't make any sense. It's not anything for anybody.

It's like death, which is simultaneously freedom, but for nobody. So it's not even freedom or death because nothing dies & nobody is free

Ego of course wants to be a limitless somebody. It's impossible. It's hopeless.

Nobody reaps the so-called benefits!

The ego or self illusion would never pursue enlightenment if it actually knew what it reveals.

It's not a new mental state, paradigm, perspective or world view. It's not a something thats attainable, it's nothing. Enlightenment = 0

Ego only seeks enlightenment because it thinks it's something special or advantageous. It thinks it will be a special or superior being.

It cannot grasp its own unreality, and when it IS seemingly grasped, it's because it collapsed or its recognized to have never actually existed.

Nor is it a recognition, it's absolutely nothing.

Enlightenment =

Which is why I don't understand your problem with radical nonduality.

On the one hand you say the self is this real structure.

On the other hand you say the self is surrendered when opening to God.

Are we not basically saying the same thing, ie no self is the doorway.

Non-duality centers on the idea that the "self" is illusory; from that perspective, enlightenment is the realization that the self is an illusion. For me, enlightenment is the opening of the self to its absolute nature.

To achieve this, the self must collapse the dualistic and limited focus that develops within any individual, given their specific genetic makeup.

The self is not merely the idea you have of yourself, that is a very basic level; one could be unattached to any such ideas and still remain in a "closed" state.

This opening is a mechanical process, it is not about intellectually realizing that a structure is unreal, but rather about the actual openess of that structure. Yet, the self remains; the self is consciousness, the knowing that you exist, the registering of experience form a perspective. The self is real, but its limitations are not absolute. The self is the structure that reality is taking now, this structure can open itself loosing its limits and realize it's nature, but is the self who gets enlightened, the reality is the reality, is not enlightened or not

This self can open to its total nature and perceive itself as what it truly is: reality looking at itself. This does not mean there is a mental narrative running "Oh, I am the total reality" but rather that your being, your emotional and mental system, opens completely to the vastness, the inmensity, to the absolute, which encompasses absolute fullness, inexhaustible vitality, and the creative power that inherently involves limitation.

It is not some abstract, "holy" feeling of happiness; rather, it is you seeing what you are, what you have always been, without the slightest doubt. It is something absolutely, undeniably obvious. The prodigal son has returned, following a journey through the darkness of limitation, and now opens himself to the total light of the unlimited.

Then, the self is real or not? Who cares, you are, and what you are is the total power and the total freedom of the limitlessness. Sat chit Ananda. Open heart and the mind to what you are, as an actual form. the reality looking itself, and ultimately, the absolute .

In my experience it seems the top/outer/first level of the self is the mind ego structure, many layers to it.

You mean the representation of a character that could be great or low, who is in relationship with its emotional bondages with the people, defining itself from what it represents to the others, right? It's a level of the ego, but if you get detached from this there is still structure

You worded it well, the last one I wanna emphasize because some talk about the self in a way as in just straight up self vs no self, but there's levels there

I never read any spiritually, I find it unbearable. Same than porn, I prefer having sex.

But look, Ramana seems bit mistaken. "The true self is formless bla blah blah, is a mistake. The self is a structure that the formless is taking now, and it can open itself to it's nature, that is the unlimited. The unlimited is not a "true self", it's unlimited, period
