I feel more connected to god when I am sick

There's no spirituality without suffering.

There's no such thing as someone pursuing spirituality just because; even yogis or people like Ramana Maharshi must have come from countless lifetimes of deep suffering.

Suffering is wisdom and the inital step of change.

These past two days I have been very sick, and my experience feels very dreamy.

I had a weird dream today. I was having a conversation with myself without requiring any kind of body. I knew that I was the only one there.

“The day I poured a glass of your love into my heart, I became so drunk that even the breaking of the world could not wake me."

(Meaning: When divine presence fills your life, the mundane worries and chaos of the external world completely lose their power over you.)

Dear suffering heart, I hear you whisper it’s not going to be easy, just that it will be worth it. Yes, it wil, because it was worth it. Absolutely! 💯

Why am I totally free?  Because I have understood the unreality of (the) ‘I am’.

Thankfully the acute fever only lasted two weeks .

2 weeks of fever? That's rough.

I can definitely relate, especially the soothing part (although it depends on how severe the illness is xD)

Hope you feel better :x
