Not Understanding Leos Blog Post “Rape is bad because it is unconscious survival”

For example, in order for a rapist to become Good, he would need to introspect and recognize by the light of his own Consciousness that rape is wrong. For Andrew Tate to become Good, he would need to introspect and realize within himself that treating women the way he treats women is wrong. Do you see that this cannot come from outside of himself? It does not matter what the law says, or what the courtroom says, or what the Bible says, or what I say, because even if he followed all those external standards, as long as he internally thought that rape is cool, then he's a bad person. Bad not because I judge him, but bad because he lacks self-awareness. Rape is bad because it is unconscious survival. For Andrew Tate to become a Good person he would need to make all of his unconscious survival behavior conscious, which would be very painful for him to do because he would feel so bad about his past behavior. Which is why he's stuck being a bad person. Bad people are stuck in a vicious cycle of denial about their own behavior.

 

Honestly, this entire paragraph is well written and I agree with it, I am only confused about one small sentence in this paragraph, “Rape is bad because it is unconscious survival.”

Does Leo mean that the actual act of rape is unconscious because he mentions that the rapist thinks its “cool”, or does he mean that the rapist is not conscious of how his raping is a survival strategy?

What is rape?

Unconscious survival.

Part of that is thinking rape is cool, or whatever other BS rapists tell themselves.

It's also because there are other ways to reach your goals than to hurt others. Win-win is a powerful concept. If you need to get your sexual or self-importance needs met you fundamentally understand life and also your ability to avoid prosecution. 

I will go as far as making the claim that in the next 20-30 years all rapists will get caught even the one with no evidence as AI becomes able to mindread and tell the truth between he said she said beyond the shadow of a doubt. All crimes will end on earth as soon as we figure out how to police the government itself and those who are currently above the law. Which I think is not that hard and even social media itself has done a good job of achieving partly but the legal system is so flawed that it can't do it fully.

Humans self-empowered through AI will be able to overpower corrupt elites by function of how the universe is built and the asymmetric downsides that being a criminal inflicts on the universe.

It depends. In tribal societies, the rape of women from another tribe is considered acceptable. Ulysses raided villages and kidnapped women to rape or sell them; this was completely accepted and a source of pride.

In ancient Rome, you bought slaves and did whatever you wanted with them. The Quran explains how to have sex with slaves legally (obviously, their consent isn't considered). In US you could rape black slaves without any problem one century ago, in Africa or asia now you can fuck 11 years old girl paying to her parents or owner, and millions of westerns are doing it now. 

In other words, in human society, rape was wrong if you raped someone who belonged to someone who could cut off your testicles; otherwise, it was acceptable, just because you have the power to do it.

I think we could be getting there fast. The epstein files blew a lid on it and it's hard to burrow the fact that elites are above the law and commit unspeakable crimes now. Massive amounts of people are investigating it further as we speak and AI will only help their investigative possibilities.

Exciting time to be alive. I think realistically we will enter a massive golden age of humanity if not in the 2030s in the 2040s and beyond. 

Which is hilarious because the global sentiment is quite pessimistic at the moment. There is a WW3 possibility looming but I believe we can either avoid it or get through it and come out better, stronger and more united as a species.
