For pick up you have to go to the best clubs if not the best club in your city, of course with a dancefloor. It doesn't work in any club.

@Olaf The bottom line is that you need a high volume of approaches per week to make pick up work, plus you need to get into a flow state. Day game is fine in addition to night game. However night game at high volume clubs is where you really learn. 

In bars it's difficult to approach girls because bars tend to be small so you'll get noticed easily. For game to work in bars you have to go every night to a bar and approach a few women there, which requires more money than going to a high volume club once a week and approaching a lot of women there.
