The first guy I know who died was into weed and psychedelics initially, then benzodiazepines and coke (I met him before he was going to work one time and he was coked up and on benzos and I was like "ok so we're there"). Then he was into opioids (not sure if it involved heroin) and then he died of a drug overdose.

He seemed quite lonely once when I met him and he asked me to do amphetamines with him but I had to go to a dinner so I refused. He had friends but he seemed a bit troubled (he was constantly high on weed, quite introverted; he had a horrible trip on salvia I heard; perhaps there was trauma involved, before or after that). He was our trip sitter when me and many of my friends first did LSD (he was spooked off psychedelics at the time; he could only do it while on benzos).

The second guy was an ex-roommate (not from my university). First he was into weed, then we heard he stopped working at his job and his girlfriend broke up with him, and later when I and another roommate had moved to a different place, that roommate met him randomly in the city and he told me he had started doing heroin. That's when I thought he might not have much time left (we were approaching 27-territory). Then the next year, he died (I found out only a week or so ago). At the end he was living in an "emergency housing" and then he asked for immediate admission to a hospital because he felt "sick" but was refused, and then he left the housing, and 12 days later, he was found in a lake. The guy was into Sadhguru.

The third guy died very recently and a friend told me had recently been admitted to the psychiatric ward for "attempted murder" (which I think would likely involve an amphetamine psychosis, but he always had violent tendencies; he one time knocked out and robbed a mutual friend for skimming some weed he sold him). He also robbed another mutual friend who had offered him to stay at his place I think free of charge (like wut?) together with another person. He was pronounced dead on a Monday, perhaps he ODed during the weekend (maybe alcohol or something else).

So that's drugs.
