Having a stage blue shadow

20 posts in this topic

I was analyzing some of my forum posts with Gemini and I came to interesting conclusions regarding my blind spots and biases that are holding me back in life.

It actually first started when I deconstructed my addictions to weed and porn and I realized that I tend to use easy dopamine as a way to cope with the hardships of life. Classic enough but it gets deeper.

I got into cryptocurrency a few years ago and studied hundreds of hours of it as well as finane and macroeconomics. It taught me a lot but I'm still broke and not that successful in society. Why is that since I've been interested in business and working on mine for over a decade at this point? Gemini also helped me figure that out, I actually switched to a strategy of not buying weed or drinks when I was anxious and under-stimulated and buying Crypto instead to feel like I was investing in my future instead of just coping with substances. Gemini highlighted that it's a common trap for intellectuals try to smart their way to success as we're usually weaker at industriousness which requires emotional labor instead.

After analyzing my life over the past year I was quited stumped at my bottleneck as I actually am not a lazy person and work a lot so why am I getting stuck? Reading Leo's blog post today gave me the insight that it was due to a simple stage blue shadow. I have a deep disrespect for the classic institutions of society like religion, school and even building a career instead of starting a business. I now realize that this disrespect has lead me to ego and arrogance and reduced my efficiency in my business and life as a whole.

Thought I would share as I feel like it's probably a common thing on this forum as well since my consuming Leo's content we get a superior frame of reference to what society teaches as a whole and this can lead to intellectual arrogance. I notice a lot of stage green shadow on this forum but the stage blue shadow was invisible to me until today. Hopefully as I integrate this stage more over the next months and years I will finally solve my bottlenecks and be able to crush all my goals and finally be able to actualize my grandest visions and overall life purpose.

I like the blog bro keep it up, sharing short form insights is actually really powerful. I haven't had the energy to watch the recent long form videos but I read the blog daily.

I have found it tremendously helpful in identifying both my strengths and blindspots. The key is to use it to challenge yourself and falsify your positions not only to flatter you.

It can also be used for game purposes lol, I've used it to ask it about texts I'm about to send to women and it's helped me see if I'm a bit uncalibrated or where I should be even more bold and I'm holding myself back.

Also that's how I know a lot of people are projecting when we argue together on this forum. I ask Gemini often if I'm the one projecting or they are. Sometimes I am but I genuinely don't really care that much to be right and am just fascinated about solving all my problems and becoming superhuman whereas a lot of people vie for status and being right.

I use my Instagram as my lightning rod of my status so all my discussions on this forum are based on genuine inquiry and good faith debate. I still have some ego and am more aggressive than I should be but I think that's because I'm in a proving myself stage of my life.

In 15 years once I'm in my mid 40s and have accomplished most of what I want to I'll be nicer I promise. Now is the time for conquest of the enemy and the acquisition of their women! xD

It said my biggest issue was hyper-competence B|. But then I also got it to give me my shadow

I would write a massive paragraph of your life and all your problems and the things going well and ask it to identify your bottleneck and flaws as a human being and to be ruthlessly honest and I promise you that you'll learn a few things about yourself that were hiding deep in your psyche lol

I'm trying the Gary Vee technique of posting about all your flaws and shortcomings publicly to make yourself invulnerable. So far its working it feels half good and half bad. A lot of people on here don't answer questions honestly when asked. What are you scared of and who are you hiding from?

At first thought you said "I'm going to write a massive paragraph of your life" lmao

But nice idea. I'll give that a go

It's hard to have objective discussions with anonymous users. That's why I post my instagram in my bio so you guys can see my life and we're talking human to human and not WizardKiller48 to NewKidontheBlock. I encourage you to do the same. I think a lot of people dislike social media because it's a global arena that shows your life and connects you to everyone else on earth.

It's also why I use ruthless rhetoric to deconstruct peoples points so they can't hide in vague platitudes. Every guy pretends to be casanova and Mike Tyson. I'm not great at martial arts and don't workout but social dynamics and dating strategy I'm hard to beat.

I don't see a reason to not be anonymous here, this is not an elite community in any sense, not even in a philosophical sense it pretends to be. All sorts of retards frequent this place regurarly. It is only logical to use your real identity only where it matters

Don't you see what you just wrote as victim mindset? Agency is built out of believing that your individual actions have an effect on the collective.

I've found that my style of interacting on this forum has elevated the discourse in ways that I'm starting to notice. If we all sought to raise the bar further in ways that we find valuable then it would flourish perhaps infinitely ;)

I'm not personally really interested in that, you can think of that as a victim mindset if you wish. I like to be present in communities of people that are not some chaotic sandboxes such as this forum is, but are already made of people who a) have almost nearly the same thinking and vision that I have, or b) have the EXACT (that word is important here) same goals and can demonstrably prove that they are actually able to achieve them in the most efficient way humanly possible, they're made of the real serious people standing on their business

What keeps you around on this forum then? You use it more as a place to vent?

I appreciate people that reveal their identity, it would make me nicer, I think. But I also would probably just leave... it's more fun to get perma-banned I guess 🤷.

Since i only have one more ban left i guess it's good time to say sorry for being mean guys, it's never been personal. I hope you all do great, whatever that means for you.

I really enjoy analysing forum interactions also (I am sort of obliged to do this).

Frequently forum interactions can be chalked down to "User failed to ask: what exactly do you mean?" prior to attacking the argument. Then when they later clarify, it can appear to be changing goalposts or points. It gets messy when someone anchors themselves to their original interpretation. Then there is endless snowball effect of talking past each other or arguments going all over the place. Frustration increases and then rhetoric degrades into crude terminology flung about.

Regarding the topic:

In terms of stage blue shadow - it makes me wonder as this is another way to frame a potential issue - but might not hit it head on: is more information to diagnose really the answer? If more information solved the inaction problem, all of us would be productivity machines (more information can resolve inaction when it really is the bottleneck, but I need to be careful to decipher that as true)! Information is so easy to access now that gatekeeping is less of a thing. I suppose I would look at myself here: I often like to reframe in similar way (in this case I do often look at things through spiral dynamics), but I don't often feel it gets me any closer to taking action with the information. I can feel like I am, because I am getting closer to (what I feel is) isolating the problem. But it could be a red herring if more information or another mental frame doesn't help - or if I haven't identified my issue as a legitimate information deficit.

Usually this ends up with me looking at my own mental blocks, inner narratives and false beliefs that are preventing me from using the power at my disposal. The stage blue shadow is acting to cast light on the rigid structures in our beliefs that beg for inspection.

@LordFall

I pm'ed you a long time ago about another topic if you remember,  you bringing up stage blue here makes me want to suggest you look into the psychology behind 'multi-level marketing' victims. Please look that up before looking at our old PM if you're going to.

Yes I'm familiar with MLMs. They sell people the dream while keeping them stuck in an unprofitable business model. It's not really my issue I've tried multiple business models. My issue is more that as an INTP most things really bore me and I have a hard time motivating myself doing monotonous tasks if they are not intellectually stimulating. Part of why I end up arguing on the forum all day instead of like cold dming clients for example.

What do you find helps you get rid of your mental blocks? For me I have always procrastinated on work every since elementary school. The kid that would never study and still get As because I understand it type of thing. It doesn't work as well in the real world because it's not about understanding so much as much as execution.

I think understanding my psychology will help me solve it because otherwise it's like I stand in my own way. For example I have other friends that I know who are a similar age than me and are very smart but live with their parents and don't do anything. Their psychology and lack of survival pressure stop them from actually being productive members in the economy. That's not really my issue more so the last 10 years of my life I try different business models and then make money for a while and then get complacent and have to get a job to pay my bills then start another business start making money again, quit my job then start the cycle over.

So I feel like it's an issue of lack of alignment with what I'm doing so I'm not that motivated or it's a problem with my psychology that I gotta solve. How do you keep motivated to work on your construction business? To me if it was not something I was passionate about it would be extremely hard to work on it with consistency and I would give it up after like 6 months.
