@AerisVahnEphelia Exactly.

Are you:

Inferring?

Deducting?

Inducting?

Extrapolating?

Estimating?

Predicting?

Maybe it is less rigorous. Guessing, speculating, assuming, presuming, intuiting, believing, expecting.

Or maybe you are using a cognitive shortcut? A heuristic. Maybe pattern matching. Analogy reasoning.

Or you could simply be confabulating.

Regardless - you don't know. So I wouldn't make the claim, if I were you. But only because it stands on the spindly legs of a foal newly born :D

Most welcome 😇

It is far easier to fool someone, than to convince them they have been fooled.

@zurew Yeah, i've had it tbh.

Over the last two years I've given pushback on the science comments on different occasions and topics such as Terence Howard, Stephen Wolfram, deconstructing rationality, logic, mathematics and AI last.

Some of those were at least an hour or two of effort, in which I expressed clearly the synthesis between a Consciousness/Crystallizing Godhood ontology and mathematics/sciences with references to their mystical aspect. To no avail.

His stance and language on science has only become more and more bitter. There seems to be an intellectual shadow of some sorts, probably because of all the close-minded rationalist pushback or earlier "trauma" from school/college. He is stuck at the mystic stage (mystic -> rational -> integral), which is why he keeps employing rhetoric of authority, such as "no one else understands/experienced X".

My most recent post illustrates a basic epistemological fallacy in his AI stance, the same type anti-vaxxers use.

Whatever, that was it for me. I though the forum was where people could sound off on his ideas, but I guess not. What do we, the "scientific bigots" understand of Leo's Grand Awakenings?
