It seems to be a really effective way of pointing out the futility of seeking

What about recognition…could seeking be interpreted as the recognition that nothing is/was ever lost ?

The mistake is to think that letting go of morality will turn you into a person who acts in immoral ways.

Quite the opposite.

What mistake am I making?

I was speaking in general terms.

It seems like there is a waffling with trying to be serious and trying to be funny on here, and I can't tell when one is being emphasized or not.

Not sure what you mean, I was simply pointing out that people tend to think that if they let go of their notions of good and bad, that they might end up doing a whole bunch of bad things without caring. It doesn't seems to work like that though in my experience.

Wow, that's an interesting way of looking at it, I never thought of it like that.

Who says that what Jim is talking about doesn't include the ordinary and the extraordinary ?

I say.

He is not talking about the highest levels of God-Consciousness.

He doesn't exclude it per se, but he isn't speaking of it nor will his ways get you to it.

Are you talking about peak mystical states ?

I am talking about peak God-Realization.

I am talking about realizing that you are God so deeply that your eyes bulge out of your skull in disbelief and horror.

Until I hear the shock of God being talked about, God has not really be realized.

If God is not totally shocking and horrifying you, you haven't realized it fully.

My question for you is how do you know this is right for others?

I have had those types of experiences when taking 4 grams of Psilocybe cubensis.

I admit, not on the levels I have heard you describe.

But we can't live in those states permanently though.

I think what is interesting about Jim, and quite rare, is that his sense of separate self has fallen away permanently.

Which is why he says that This is not an experience.

He seems to be pointing to something beyond a mystical state.

@Leo Gura I experienced this with Bufo the first time. It was so beautiful and so terrifying at the same time. So much love. It's insane.

It is not right for everyone. But if you want to know God, there's hardly an alternative.

The horror of it is not that bad. It is manageable because it also comes with many positive qualities. But I at least want to hear people being animated and shocked by it. If the reaction is prosaic, that's how I know it wasn't deep.

When someone acts like "Oh, God is no big deal, just ordinary stuff", that tells how shallow the Awakening was. I've had Awakening where I literally shit my pants. That's a true Awakening.

I'm just trying to make sure you guys are shitting your pants, as is proper.
