Understanding the culture war

3 posts in this topic

At the root of the culture war in the west is : we see the world through a story.
The left says that hence wants to say that gender or sex isn't biological but a story (a social construct) hence we can rewrite the story, or rather retell the story, and hence transgenderism.
The right also believes we see the world through a story. Howveer the right understand that the story of western civilization (christianity) is the bedrock of civilization and rewriting it willy nilly will cause the collapse of western civilization. Hence they see transgenderism for example as decadent.

Strip away the hypocrites and the woke left and religious right have similar overall beliefs. Their mistake is thinking people will behave properly just because they "should" but we are animals, evolved from lower animal species, and have powerful evolutionary drives in the older parts of our brain that are hard to manage in a free society without strict autocratic control. If you want personal freedom, you have to accept the chaos that goes along with it. Nobody is going to behave just because the "woke" or the "Christians" think they should. That takes carrot and stick social conditioning and force or punishment for "bad behavior."

Most average people are apolitical because being part of any "group" of mentally unstable angry people with with a victim mindset with these beliefs that they will think will transform society into a utopia generally just means they are mentally unstable, though they sometimes have some valid complaints and perhaps their ideas might even make society better, but it takes a level of control over our autonomy and individuality that most people don't like, left or right.

Main reason the right took power was the woke movement was getting insufferable under Biden. It just was.  Nobody wants to be beat over the head with moralistic shaming and told how they should believe or think, whether it's the right or left doing it.

As a human, you are always going to worship something even if you don't consider yourself religious (which is essentially the whole schtick of Jordan Peterson when atheists are trying to push him to clearly state whether he believes or doesn't believe in God). As a wokie, generally you are worshiping the concept of human rights, tolerance, equality and the groups of people that you view as opressed (there's a hierachy of oppression pointing downwards, the more characteristics that presuppose oppression you exhibit or posses, the more your opinion matters and the higher oppression score you get; and the lower your oppression score is, the less your opinion matters);

And as a tradchuddie or even fashie, you are worshiping the concepts of duty, strength, hierachy (pointing upwards; the more desirable characteristics you posses or exhibit, the more superior you are and the opposite; the less, the more inferior you are), obedience, order
