I give credit to this post since due to it I joined it's WhatsApp group based on Mumbai despite being from a far away city in India .

Absolutely check it out... BUT

 

I'm running a branch of this club in Bangkok, and while I've had some of the most scintillating discussions there, many of the people who come still aren't as open-minded as you'd probably hope.

There's a good chance you'll end up being questioned or ridiculed by materialists using "rationality" to prove you wrong: that objective reality does exist or that psychedelics just cause hallucinations.

Last time, things got a tad heated because I chose the topic "Left vs. Right." We were supposed to be discussing the fundamental qualities and dynamics of the two. I dare you to guess what actually happened...

I also feel like some older men dismiss my points just because I'm young.

This post isn't meant to discourage you from joining the club in your city. It's 100% worth it, and you'll definitely meet plenty of amazing, intelligent, nonjudgmental people (certainly more than in all other places I know).

I'm just surprised someone mentioned the club on this forum, and I figured I'd vent my frustration a little. 😁

It's almost like you should treat this club as a place to find a few truly intelligent, open-minded, and self-aware people, and then invite only them for a discussion at a coffee shop.

Exactly right, there is many very interesting people who share similar interests as people on this forum. Closed minded people unfortunately exist everywhere.
