Women's biological attraction to status could be steelmanned by looking at how safety and certainty is a concern. Men need to supply provision to look after women when they bear children. Status might not be the direct target - but many things function as proxies: money, strength, social standing etc

Coupled with, historically, women would need to select well. Getting pregnant was risky. Perhaps biology and attraction favoured for this selection - hence status being an attraction mechanism.

Hard to say if that is a hardwire biologically or a manifestation of the social domain. Status is a signal. And a good one for genetic propagation.

Personally I don't give a fug too much about status provided a dude is able to look after himself. Theres a minimum. I just want someone I can rub brains with 😀 the brains are a bit more of a turn on for me. And humour - but good, crafty humour is often a proxy for intellect. I wouldnt consider myself part of this bell curve we are discussing, though

I think it's a question of how much status is required for attraction to occur.

And I don't think it's a directly proportional relationship.

I think it depends on the woman's social status too.

But it can get too delusional sometimes.

It's mostly an ego game.

Status is not required. It is one factor in a complex equation. But hot girls have so many options they will have little interest in a low status guy.

I have gotten girlfriends from my fame alone. In fact, those girlfriends are better than random club girls.

When you have fame, not only do you get more sex, you attract higher quality girls who really appreciate you because they understand your full value.

Nothing is as effective at getting girls than fame. I barely have fame and it still works. Not that I use it much.

When you have fame, girls will just throw themselves at you. Girls will bend over backwards to be with you.

I think it depends on who you consider a hot girl. If you think hot girls are the ones who get a lot of male attention, then you are playing that specific ego game.

It's probably because it makes you feel successful and socially approved to get her.

So it's kind of a self-fulfilling prophecy that one is telling himself.

You want the success, so you chase the girl who makes you want to be successful.

I don't hate AI. I dislike how users plug urguments into AI (those they want to refute, or their own) and use it for nefarious ends. Just to win. Are we here for truth? If you argue only to win, you aren't really trying to discover the truth (and it's frequently half way between both sides when the discussion is protracted and systemic) AI can be abused to outsource critical thinking. It's rather obvious who does this. Many do on the forum here, and the internet at large.

Using AI to brainstorm for you is so, so bad for cognition. Use it or lose it. I don't see many people able to critically asses simple concepts that arrive from social media! Red pill, looksmaxing, insane misandry disguised as feminism, MGTOW, blaming women or men for systemic issues out of their control. People fall for it, hook line and sinker, because they do not use critical thinking enough for it to be the default. 

I'm not saying that you should never use AI for this. But it is not something you should frequently outsource. It needs to remain sharp. And to do this requires use.

It's also antithetical to what actualized.org stands for.

I have never had that issue.

She falls in love with you. Not the fame. She even tells herself she doesn't care about the fame. But the only reason she met you was the fame. Fame is just an automatic lead funnel. It is like having a worldwide 24/7 dating profile. Girls come to you rather than you needing to come to them.

That statement is contracted and limited around only girls who get lots of male attention.

The latter statement allows more possibilities. And it means you're not really attracted to typically "hot" girls. So they're not necessarily hot to you.

But there's a possible cognitive dissonance in this line of thinking. 

A "hot" girl is either someone you find attractive regardless of what other males think. (She's subjectively hot to you)

Or she's someone who gets lots of male attention, which makes her typically "hot". (She's objectively hot, not necessarily to you)

Or she's someone that matches both criteria. But I don't think that's what you're saying.

You're saying that a hot girl needs just to be subjectively hot to you.

But then you are also saying that hot girls are necessarily getting a lot of male attention and options.

That implies that your subjective preferences always match the objective preferences of other males.

So either you are creating a self-fulfilling prophecy where the girls you find hot are the ones who get male attention, because that attention is part of what signals "hot" to you.

Or you're claiming that your purely personal taste just happens to align with mass male consensus every single time, which is statistically implausible.

The first option means your attraction isn't as purely physical as you think. The second is possible but worth questioning, especially since you've already acknowledged fame is what gets you these girls. The fame didn't change your taste, but it might be revealing that your taste was never as independent from social proof as it felt.
