I was wondering if Spiral dynamics measure some cultural aspects or the level of consciousness... Because we see behaviours in excess of Green that are typical to the levels of consciousness we find in Blue people.

Interesting insight. SD says that every stage deceives itself by thinking it's two levels up from where it actually is. For example, blue tells itself it's actually green. While green thinks it's turquoise. 

Only tier 2 thinks independently and how you described stage blue in your post could be said about all the lower stages.

Yea I mean Yellow is Yellow because of a specific level of consciousness not just advanced cognition. You cannot have pure Yellow without consciousness. You need to be aware of biases and meta thinking not just to be introduced into a academic fancy culture. that won't cut it.

In the same logic, it is not enough to be introduced to hippie Green culture and be a healthy Green. You need the consciousness.

If there is a critical mass of mature Green people in your friend group, you will be dragged along towards higher consciousness. because you need the love. Your ego will give up selfishness for love. But if enough low consciousness people join the Green group, a lower consciousness woke culture will form from the healthy Green. Like a cancer, like an ugly mutation breaking from the healthy Green.

Group think and intolerance of differing opinions are aspects of green, so I don't think I'd agree in saying they are blue. They are just a more extreme form of liberalism. The "authentic self" is centered hugely in wokiesm (ie. Being trans, gay, a minority, unique sexualities, etc). Blue doesn't truly value authenticity like that imo.

They might look a little blue in that they make political disagreement moral disagreement and they want that to be punishable on an institutional level (ie. Cancelled for wrong think), but that's arguably still within the perview of green. Blue moralism is centered more around theology and survival (being lazy, don't steal or murder, etc.)

You're actually doing what you're accusing wokies of doing, "black and white thinking", you're using dichotomous thinking by generalizing all 'progressives' as the idiot parrots you run across. The idiot parrot wokies are obviously still stage blue or red, think most minorities, but there's actually some intelligent intellectuals that actually understand the dynamics instead of just being emotionally reactive like the idiot wokies(usually the affected minorities, but also some general bandwagonners),

Many, probably most wokies are blue or red, I would guess 70%. 'Woke' is absolutely green though and there are absolutely some very intelligent wokies that are green, these are usually the ones that promote the novel concepts through academic institutions, the research papers or treatises in fields like sociology. Bernie Sanders might be blue, i'm not sure though to be honest, i don't care to research him enough to know, his messaging is blue though, that i've heard.
