Seems like there may be some truth to the idea that some physical illnesses start as spiritual illnesses - in this case lying (connected to the throat chakra) affected the thyroid gland (the gland of the throat chakra).

Not a fan of Pam Bondi, but for the sake of epistemic responsibility- I’d take this assumption with a grain of salt.

No one has ever really validated a correlation between the two; what constitutes a ‘spiritual illness’ is highly contextual, there’s no universal understanding of what that is, or scientific study that proves a correlation between that and physical illness.

Not saying it isn’t possible, but we should be careful not to fall back into pre rational thought stances

Also Ramakrishna and nisgardatta maharah died of throat cancer. Saying that anyone deserve when they get cancer is not wise imo, except if they smoke a lot
