Thank you, I actually really enjoyed her video. I was thinking if you ladies want to promote the matriarchy, I would use words like egalitarian more often. Because when us guys here the word matriarchy, we immediately think its gonna be exactly like patriarchy but women have all the power. And that's not what she is saying at all.

Exactly - which is why how it is phrased makes all the difference to how it is received.

I personally do not like speaking about structures within society with any sort of gendered attribute.

I find it needlessly polarizing and in some cases completely incorrect.

It also runs the risk of men and women feeling shame for things they are not responsible for - but have the power to change.

Yes, so the question is, why even call it a matriarchy at all ? Why not just call it egalitarian, and then everyone's happy.

I'm sure there are feminists out there who are more about conquest, but it seems that the type of matriarchy talked about here, refers to an egalitarian society. So the term matriarchy might be a bit misleading.

It always begins with good intentions,  it always ends in hell.

Egalitarian human society is a myth.  The human, male or female, just doesn't have it in itself to overcome its petty hamunit nature.  

Capitalism doesnt work for the same reason communism doesnt work which is the same reason why patriarchy and matriarchy don't work - humans are overseeing it and human is the problem.

That doesn't mean we stop striving, evolution or bust, but if there was an actual solution it won't based on any mass movements - like matriarchy.

LOL, as far as the egalitarian society thing goes, it might not be so far fetched after all. I remember when covid happened and they couldn't make movies, it was like movie stars began to lose that magical aura overnight. People have lost all respect for politicians because everything is more transparent now. AI will make differentiation based on knowledge irrelevant. And eventually the billionaires will be forced to share the abundance if they dont want to live in absolute hell. Im not saying an egalitarian society will come about through our own selflessness, but it kinda seems like evolution is pushing us in that direction for our own survival.
