Why the existence of evil is absolutely good

The first evil is imperfection. The second evil is impermanence. Because of imperfection there is a struggle. This struggle creates a journey. This journey has ups and downs twists and turns and prevents consistent results. Because every result is rare and hard won this creates value. Value is the highest form of love because value is precious. 

Value, preciousness, serve gratitude. You can only know gratitude through scarcity. Then there is theft, rape, impatientence, murder, these acts give goodness its value. You can only appreciate a gift because of the existence of impermanence and the existence of theft. You can only appreciate consensual sex because of the existence of nonconsensual sex. You can only appreciate your life when you learn of senseless murder. 

Because goodness is voluntary this is what makes it authentic, and authenticity is TRUTH. Goodness is voluntary submission, voluntary slavery to self imposed rules on how one should act. 

Evil is freedom, evil is rebellion. Evil conforms to nothing and resists everything. God is the evil storyteller. Every Good story is a story about evil. God is the highest good because God is selfless, but God's creation is equally as good because it must earn its goodness through hard work and dedication. 

For God goodness is easy, but for its creation it is difficult. For God everything has no meaning because it is imaginary, for God's creation everything has meaning because it is real. 

Real struggle, real stakes, = beauty. Ugly is beautiful because there is a story behind every detail. Depth comes from diversity. Evil is the creator of diversity. It is through this diversity that goodness matures. 

Goodness learns to love that which it is not, and becomes a better creator, becomes more intelligent.

This means the dark side is the trainer of the light side. It's job is to grow you in depth and complexity. The reward? Perfect Self Love. 

So I am grateful to evil for teaching me how to love myself more.

Only?  No.  That's one way to appreciate it.

Another way is realizing the essence of the gift which is beyond its material wrapping as a manifestation of eternity.

More on the topic of evil. It is evil to walk around and look around because every part of you loses the chance to see itself when you walk away or look in the other direction. So evil cannot be helped. There will always be evil. 

The creation of individuality creates evil, finitude is evil, and infinitude is good, since finitude must exist evil must exist and hence this is why evil and good are identical because they co create each other.

Evilness comes from fight to survival. Fighting means destroying your enemy, and this is a must in life. If anyone is in the circumstance of real fight and is absorbed by it, they will enjoy causing pain and death because means that it is you who die, not me.

@Monster Energy It can be understood intellectually..obviously that’s not what I mean . Good luck getting a person dying of cancer to get cancer is good . Only an enlightened person would be able to do it ..in which case there is no person to do anything.the person died long before .

The fact of saying that something is good implies that something is bad, so saying that everything is good makes no sense; you could say that everything is, but "good" is only a subjective perception, which lacks meaning without its opposite.

Ramakrishna and more mystics who had cancer absolutely sure they would prefer didn't having it. They could say anything but they perceive cancer as bad.

The ego is the feeling that you are a person separate from reality . It’s not true . There is no actual person separate from reality . So it can’t diminish or disappear because it doesn’t exist in the first place . Then why do I say the ego can’t understand this ? Because actually it’s clear as day that the ego is illusory if you care to do five minutes of self-inquiry. You are just afraid of surrendering to reality because you think surrender will make things worse but if the ego is completely gone that’s enlightenment and infinite love . You walk around nothing bothers you anymore like Ramana Maharishi . I’m not saying I’m enlightened though .

I know that the ego is not my true nature, but the ego is still part of my nature. This is difficult to understand. Observing my thoughts and not identifying with the ego is one of the best things one can do to create a deeply harmonious and flowing life.

However, it is completely wrong to say that the ego does not exist. It does exist, and it must exist. Who experiences the whole? Who experiences the absence of separation? Exactly, you do as the ego.

Who experiences my life ? I do . Who am I ? Where did this I come from ? Where is this I ? 
all conceptual answers are false . Find it directly . Look inside your own being . There is no you as a fixed entity sitting there . Is this true or false ?

It's worse when they say you're God, who is infinite, exploring the experience of being you out of love.

Being infinite, he would have explored that experience and infinite other similar experiences infinite times, and if he were creating this specific experience now for some reason, he'd be a psychotic god trapped in hell.
