Insight on behavioral change.

This is a basic insight but a powerful one, and can either be interpreted as good news or bad news; it's up to you:

A human is a mechanical system that runs on autopilot almost all the time. and a system that is capable of observing itself and influencing itself.

Programming different aspects of yourself becomes one of the most important skills when it comes to behavioral change.

I'd say this is an excellent insight. Most people run at the whims of their programming, and feel helpless to change it. Neuro Linguistic Programming is one set of methods to reprogram yourself, but there are plenty of others such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and therapy in general, and psychedelics of course.

I would be wary of placing too much emphasis on the metaphors though, we're not machines in the conventional sense, and we're not computers either.

The situation is paradoxical though. When you consciously choose to change or tinker with your programming, where does this idea come from? The system itself of course.

The future can be real. The future can be again.

Nice, good insight. To make it a bit more concrete, what would programming oneself mean in this context?

Utilizing the feedback-loop-like Nature of the human mind in order to bring forth energy into the world which reflects Truth back toward itself.

Wayyy too abstract, in my opinion.

Just some satire below for inspiration.

you can write books on this trying to make it concrete lol.

but i would say what i mean by programming oneself is being able to modify automatic behaviours (habits, thoughts, reactions, identity...) through understanding and practical tangible techniques.

There is a Truth to the idea of Consciousness reprogramming. This must be a Conscious act!

Meditation is highly important,

Basically, meditation is a sitting in curious awareness.

While properly performed, the mind will start asking questions naturally, and Intuitively interweaving insights.

yes. the more you meditate, the more conscious you get, the better you get at observing yourself, the better your chances are at self mastery.

Through discipline and will, then - for example?

That is for you. Your opinion. Some of us are more capable of holding & utilizing abstraction.

It is certainly part discipline and will.

I think the most crucial aspect is Consciousness. Is Full Awareness.

That's fair.

Being concrete here would assist us in a different way. We can be left with a question, too.
