To what degree is Consciousness filtered, and how can we come to know this?  Is this regarding us or others?

After all these years im still deeply confuse, after watching the why the brain doesn't exist episode

Leo claim consciousness doesn't take place inside the brain, there is no evidence

Based on my direct experience, yes indeed it doesnt take place inside the brain, existance just somehow appear,or maybe we should say my existance itself is being manifested

But I need some answers

Do our brain has connection to the consciousness?

If someone hit my skull with a hammer, i definitely gonna lost consciousness right?

It somehow contradict the idea of our existance doesn't take place in the brain

Any expert mind share some thoughts?

It’s like we’re in a video game, and there’s a rule in the code that whenever the brain gets affected, consciousness gets affected.

So the brain is something generated by consciousness (which is existence) that affects consciousness, which isn’t so mysterious.

Another thing worth contemplating is that you probably have no proof that the brain has anything to do with consciousness. The only way you would know is if you had a brain injury and could track the loss in cognition. Otherwise it’s just a belief.

Another point is that the idea consciousness can end is unfalsifiable. It’s actually not known, just assumed. There is no proof that consciousness will end when you die. And that might be because it doesn’t actually end, it just changes form.

What is this?

That's the only question

@Nevon A way to look at it is everything in physical reality is actually a metaphysical representation of something that conciousness is doing.

So your brain dosent actually exist its a hologram, or a dream, 'having a brain' is a metaphysical representation of having sentience.

If someone hit you with a hammer the logic behind what happened dosent have to exist in order to get hit by a hammer.

To you getting hit by a hammer would be a sharp white light and feeling of pain a hole in your head and then blackness.

God means something happens after the blackness.

But you dont lose conciousness cause conciousness is that blackness you go to.

Its like deep sleep, its the brain dead state. You dont lose the brain dead state it saves you and is what you are at the fundamental level.

If you get hit with a hammer in the head and enter the void you are home you havent lost anything.

Everything else was from a trip you were on.

Like going to disneyland and not being able to take anything home with you.

Any search for the origins of consciousness makes no sense of finding the origins when you’re already the origin.

Searching for consciousness as if it’s inside or outside of consciousness itself is absurd because there’s no gap that divides it.

The idea that consciousness is inside or outside of the body creates the idea of division in the mind. If this division is the minds belief then the search is on for the division of consciousness, not consciousness itself. Then what happens is consciousness is searching for itself in all the wrong places looking for a gap which doesn’t exist for it. Eventually it calls off the search after realising it cannot split into two consciousnesses, where one is the knower and the other is the known.

If consciousness is infinite then it cannot be a number, there can’t be multiple consciousnesses that can be counted as being here, there, and everywhere in between. Consciousness can only be a concept, known now, here now, nowhere.
And so that’s where it is.
