Yes it basically just Awareness morphing around into different states.   But its one Awareness its just that now it is masquerading as a limited human so it must dumb itself down 😀  when the illusion dissolves you can be in a Gpd state with no limits.  Keep a box of tissues on hand.

If you realize yourself as God in higher states, then even in your lower state you must be God as well.

What's the point of understanding it if you're not going to re-evaluate your current state?

There certainly are things that one can understand without necessarily changing their state.

I used to get hung up on the word "God" back then because of what it was associated with and how people used it to justify their actions.

It's like not calling people by their name just because others told bad things about them, even if it's supposedly true. You would still call them by their name, even if they actually did something wrong.

God is fine with the word God.  He created it.

There are just two things and in fact they are not-two - appearance knowing itself as awareness and awareness clothing itself in appearance. So step 1 is know yourself. Don't let appearance dominate you. Abide as what is. What is, unresisted, is peace; the experience of peace is happiness and from there a good final chapter of the human incarnation is possible. And the you that you thought you were doesn't do that. It is done through you. The old you is over.
