I don't understand how we can be against israel.

@Sugarcoat Well, although this is me blaming the land instead of humans again - it is just way too strategic. Intersection between 3 continents, access to seas, rivers providing fertile land despite the climate and the terrain, many exotic goods. The most significant and largest trade route comming all the way from China traveled throught these chokepoints for thousands of years. And then the oil was discovered. It's just too important to be left alone

yea recently ive started to feel like theres something so special and spiritual about that place, I suspect the circumstances you describe may be a reason why the prophets appeared there (Middle East are, if im correct)

For sure, it's been the ultimate spiritual battleground as well, I was just trying to emphasize the material importance of the region as well. But the reason behind the crusades for example wasn't material, it was actually spiritual, the christians back then really came to just kick muslim ass, rather than achieve any materialistic goal - in fact, the venture was highly risky and costly for everyone involved.

It's actually pretty interesting that all 3 major monotheistic religions came from this general area (if you count arabian region as well in the case of Islam); even zoroastrianism, even though it's not major religion by any means, survived to this day in India; originated in Persia/Iran
