On the Verge Of Awakening!

3 posts in this topic

One night, I was laying in bed staring under my eye lids. Suddenly, a tree forms right before me just within seconds. I begin looking at this tree hoping it doesn't disappear.. and then a bright light starts to shine forth. Suddenly, I am no longer in my bed and in a dark room. I'm standing on the side of a street, its bright day light and there is the tree still in front of me. I was now able to walk over to the tree and touch it. I was fully aware that I was just laying in bed half naked about 10 seconds ago, so this wasn't just some loosey goosey dream. I began to look at everything very hard to make sure I wasn't fooling myself. Nope.. I really was standing in some neighborhood and the bed was no longer behind me. You'd think this was clear evidence that would have convinced me instantly that I am this infinite field of consciousness aka God. Few questions..

1. After following Leo's work for 6 years and with these mystical experiences... why am I still struggling to surrender to this with a "what if it isn't really true" thought in my mind every time?

2. In a dream if I'm about to die, I wake up back in my bed safe n sound. If dreams are made of the same stuff as reality, what happens if one were to die in this waking dream?

3. Leo says God is an infinitely conscious being that can't go anywhere and will be here forever. Does he mean at age 100 it'll croak and go into the dark void where everything came from originally so technically its still there in a sense... Or does he mean in the year 3054, I will continue waking up early and clocking into this same dead end job?!

Thanks!

That's a limited vision. The absolute is unlimited. If you want real awakening, you have to become unlimited. Breaking your limits. Opening yourself to the totality and be one with it. It's an action, not just a realization.

Have you noticed that everyone who has ever died in this waking dream has disappeared in the exact same way that everyone in a nightly dream has disappeared.

Is something seen as a solid tangible image ever real to you if the image can both appear and disappear ?
Is something seen as a solid tangible image that can appear and disappear to you be absolute proof of a witness?

Awakening, or witnessing, or being aware, is simply a continuous waking up to the conscious recognition that you are conscious of the dream. You can only be conscious you are dreaming. As the eternal witness, You are always lucid.

Lucid of the dream. You can never become conscious of being unconscious of the dreamless state, or the stateless state.
