@moonawakening444 I maintain my sanity by adopting pure acceptance, plus absolute total resistance to what is and what isn’t, not expecting situations to be any different, becoming the master of my own mind and emotions, constantly shifting my focus on becoming mindfully aware of living the path of least resistance. Letting go of what I cannot change and living from a state of pure surrender and non attachment.

Question is unclear . What is meant by “cross the veil “ in your experience?

"When you get very serious about truth you accept your life situation exactly as it is. So much so that you aren't childishly sitting around wishing it were otherwise. If you were confined to a wheelchair you would just accept it as how reality is. Just as you now just accept that you are not a bird who can fly."

meditation

Meditation doesn't mean sitting cross-legged. It's about fully accepting what-is.

Panic is a choice.

That's all child's play. There's no ground except yourself—aka Truth.

Practice is practice, but nothing can prepare you for Reality.

cross the veil = realizing all is One and still live this experience as a "self"

@vibv @Willy Phallicus

i have to explain lol

basically my current grounding is accepting what arises in the moment and i ask myself what is the moment asking of me...

i know this is all conceptual because in the there is no way to control Reality, only complete acceptance  and surrender...

but i still feel the need to ground myself (the body) in daily activities like wake up, brush teeth, make coffee, drink coffee, read, journal, eat, work, exercise, sleep, repeat... you follow? hahahaha

i was just asking like what are your hobbies, what makes you feel grounded? lol

I break down the separation between the perceiving center and what is perceived, the capsule of the self, the subject-object duality, the limitation and the foundation of the self, as often as I can precisely to maintain sanity. If too much time passes in contraction, madness lurks.

Consciousness adapts fast to new situations or experiences, so eventually the "new" wil be as normal as you're now or even better.

So you realized separation is illusory and the separate self is illusory and you are wondering how to live your practical life after knowing this ?

You still have to live as an individual wondering how it’s even possible to live as an individual.

If there was no individual, there would be no such event as birth or death, which would run polar opposite to the reality you know and understand. That knowledge is quite basic common sense, even for you.

most of the people who surround me aren´t the ones i can talk about this stuff you know? lmao

I define basic common sense as awareness of individuality. No one can deny their individuality, can they?
