therapy termination

I plan to end therapy. and replace it with this:

 

- A series of androids that is programmed with the DSM

- The androids are programmed to only focus on symptoms and not superficial and non-clinical traits

 

Anybody who disagrees is probably some midwestern dope who revels in unprofessionalism. Or otherwise is Hitler and wants people to suffer.

i feel like if this is your reasoning for why you are right, there might be some holes to your logic? cause this screams "reactionary".

 

other than that, i'm with @Verdesbird - don't really get what you suggest here. no one forces you to do therapy, you're a free person.

I'll take the bait and say that, even though we like to think of ourselves as sovereign and independent, autonomous and self-enclosed, there are times when it is necessary to set aside one's ego and listen to professionals.

I'm not saying this here is necessarily the case, but remember not to be arrogant in the sense of refusing much needed assistance when required. Don't let yourself get in the way of getting help from others when it is appropriate.

But seriously though, setting aside some misunderstandings that might be happening between us, there's a reason why therapy exists and why people may benefit from it - if you happen to be one of those people, it might be worth considering. It's also likely that I'm misunderstanding your intention with this thread.
