Ultra-Conservatives treat Politics as if it was religious Faith

It's so stupid that for some reasons it never happened to me to connect these two exact dots.

That's why conservative are more prone to incoherence, lack of research, and are ok with ignoring all the misbehaviours and darkspots of their leaders (or prophets) if it means supporting the over-arching concepts they blindly adhere to.

What's important is having faith in the Saviour (the president, PM, candidate) and resist the Devil (Wokism, Progressivism etc.) and everithing will be allright.
That means all the healhy and practical Conservative treats get shunned in favour of an internal moral reassurance that has little to do with making day-to-day life better for the most poeple.

And of course, it's a vicious circle: Dogmatic framework influences the way they engage with politics and the way they interpret religious teaching is filtered through  their political views.

Obviously, one could make the case that Leftist extimists treat their political beliefs as a religion aswell, and I would agree to some extent, there is certainly some overlap, but in their case their worship disincarnate, often unapplicable Ideals, while conservatives lean more on projecting their beliefs on a physical individual.
