Seeing unlimited potential in me makes me mad.

Also when I think how many great things to see to do to become it makes me feel small. It's feels like I miss so many things in life and I can't enjoy the moment and can't appreciate who I am now.

Huge problem. I can relate . This results from  an undisciplined mind . The nature of the mind is to fantasise about all the good things you are missing out in life ..an undisciplined mind that is. I used to experience this a lot before I learned about methods of quieting the mind . As soon as you wake up in the morning the mind goes "dodododododododo" or "let's take a walk ".."let's hang out with my friends and maybe get drunk " .."let's hit on some chicks".."let's check social media ". These things are fun..but if you can't spend a whole day just sitting in home appreciating your food and comfort then you will never be happy . Leo is offering the opposite perspective above if you are highly ambitious person then you gotta do things ..but since you said it is overwhelming for you then I understand that in my life is pointless desire that only leads to disappointment and multiplication of itself .its like pouring gas on the fire ..it will only make it more blazing . So to get to the point If you're highly ambitious person then it's a good thing to make to-do lists and follow a busy productive routine but if it is disturbing your mental peace then start practicing meditation and doing nothing.

@Someone hereIts also the ambition that drives you to go out and do stuff. Once I awaken I realize that the fear of death was making do stuff. Its gone now I no longer feel fomo. The fear of non existence that causes fomo is what makes humans do stuff.

Are you saying the fear of non-existence creates FOMO?

@Hojo obviously not exclusively . You gotta move to drink and eat at the very least or you die .

@Someone hereThere is a hole in every human that makes them strive for something. When you see non existence that hole is filled and fomo is gone. Fomo is fear of God/ non existence. The hole isnt filled with nothingness.

@Hojo the mind is afraid of emptiness. I agree..and this is why once you sit to meditate thoughts go crazy ..because we are addicted to stimulation .we want to be doing something all the time ..and this is why I had insomnia issues because to sleep you are supposed to just lay there on the bed just relaxing and calming down..but I'm used to loud lifestyle like playing games and listening to rap music .also Caffeine and Cigarettes etc .all of this doesn't occur if we lived in nature without electronics..we would sleep at dusk.  So I learned to finish all my busy activities during the day and just spend most of the night in activities which are relaxing and calming like reading a book or listening to jazz music or Piano etc .
