Higher consciousness and survival

7 posts in this topic

For me the more high conscious I become throughout the years, the less I feel drawn to survive and take care of survival. I feel like I should have taken care of my survival more before getting into spirituality. I actually block myself off from growing further as I know if I grow any further I wouldn´t be able to get any motivation to play these games anymore and even now its getting very very close to it. I would say for most people starting this conscious journey, don´t start yet. Like literally do this when your retired or have enough money to not have to make any money anymore. The stereotypical reality of spiritual people being lazy and doing nothing is not just true, its much deeper then that, its that the more conscious you become the less you want to survive, as survival is selfish in nature and being conscious is selfless. That is why God is dead and you are alive. If you feel the same way let me know your story.

I think the point is to thrive and evolve beyond survival. I think that is what a truly high conscious / high vibratory lifestyle is all about, when you are no longer battling survival, but thriving in every moment, in every way. Otherwise you are not truly Awake, you are somewhat still asleep, merely existing, surviving, and not truly living. My little 2 cents ~

I focus on both survival and awakening at the same time.

If I didn't focus on survival, I would have to go back and live with my parents. And because I REALLY didn't want to do that, it was enough motivation for me to focus heavily on money and building a savings account. hahaha

There is zero shame in playing the survival game.  Every man has to eat, shit, sleep and requires shelter from the savage beast.  You cant evolve if you're dead.  Everyone needs basic necessities and it is no crime to do the necessary (work your wage slave job) in order to provide them.

As it is with anything else, its what you're doing to survive, how and why.  If you're driven by wealth, prestige and fame you're not going to have enough time or energy for the middle path and most likely have no problem driving buses over people for personal gain.  If you're a fentanyl dealer that sleeps easy at night you're probably not putting to much effort into your eternal soul.

I do what I gotta do to keep a roof over my head but Im not doing that just to survive.  Im not overly obsessed or attached to survival because its guaranteed that my number is gonna get punched one way or another.  No one gets out of here alive.

Growing to where? The point is to be aligned with the flow. The more open your structure is to the total, the more efficient your actions become, the more optimized your capacity for survival.

People who see spirituality versus survival as a conflict don't understand. What do they think, that survival is bad and spirituality is good ? Reality is what it is; it's not a bad reality of low consciousness, it's reality. More clear is your sight, better for finding your place in the human machine. Thinking that the human machine is "low" is just narcissism
