"Following your passion" Work only in US

American youtubers can say anything they want

Reality is different in 3rd world countries

Fuck passion and lifepurpose

A fair point. It’s why I think above all we need to honor our authenticity and truth. If the truth is we need to work on our current situation and acknowledge our challenges then we are living in alignment. I have a much broader definition for alignment and purpose. It’s acting truthfully and authentically in the moment with what we know, clear of lies and the least amount of resistance. That’s non action , Wu Wei.

for example if the truth is you need to get yourself to a safer country and that’s what’s true for you then any action aligned with getting yourself to a better country is truth.

Yeah

my point is , india has  very few industries that exist. if you  have a passion , that wont align with those industries , you are fucked

passion route is not the way to go if you wanna be successful in a 3rd world country

Try to figure out your passion, so that you can research careers that align with it.

If you don't have such industries in India that align with your passion, obviously the right thing to do is to get a career that gives you money enough to train yourself to industry standards and pursue your dream career, possibly in other countries. You can later bring the same industry to India as an entrepreneur.

However you might have to do some seemingly lowly jobs and activities in the process of pursuing your dream.

Bill Gates for example as a teenager, used to do dumpster diving and retrieving operating system listings or source codes from garbage cans of computer centers as he considered them as a primary source of learning.

Elon Musk similarly supported himself during his struggling days with coding jobs which he was not passionate about, but provided him with money to follow his interests.

India's richest man and multi-billionaire Dhirubhai Ambani started as a petrol pump attendant.

I think if you move around a bit, you will find your perspective on careers changing as well. You might become more interested in being a businessman.

There are many rags to riches stories in India of entrepreneurs who spotted ideas and solved problems related to supplies or logistics after doing market research, thereby providing competitive products and services which was a instant hit in the market.

Easier said than done. Those are 1 in a million . the chances of you and me becoming one is very low. Also there are other factors, like luck, timing, being at the right place at the right time etc

Bill gates had the support of secret societies. That is one of the reason why he become greate.  He works for secret societies and they help him in return

Dirubai ambanis story is nice and cool. But if they average guy try to be dirubai ambani, he will get butchered by life circumstances. A lot of factors like luck, timing, genetics, that are not in our control affect the outcome

There is a saying by the enlightened sage Meher Baba , "Bravery and strength overcome all difficulties."

One can contemplate on this teaching and realize that difficulties will overcome the weak and cowardly.

Mahatma Gandhi has similarly stated thus, " Wealth does not lie in gold and silver, it lies in intelligence and good work ethics."

One can similarly  contemplate on this teaching and deduce that ignorance and bad work ethics are bound to embrace poverty, instead of prosperity.

Hope you find these teachings inspiring.

Passion works everywhere, but in 3rd world countries it takes longer to bootstrap yourself from nothing.

You need a highly pragmatic strategy to make the passion viable. It can't be utopian passion where you just hope it magically works. You need a plan with concrete steps and goals and pathway to profit.
