Does anyone else notice a profound shift from AI?

4 posts in this topic

AI has radically changed my life, how I learn, and perhaps even my consciousness. I feel as though we are living through an entirely new paradigm, and only recently did it hit me at how profound of an impact this is going to have on all of us, and already is happening to many of us. I want to hear your thoughts on this.

I think its dogshit. Best thing it did was turn old video game music into math rock and the songs still sound weird.

Its just a search engine with way more reading then I like to do.

@Hojo Brutal. Agree lol

To be clearer - I think chatGPT is garbage. I think it is overused.

Other AI LLMs I have found good use.

It is far easier to fool someone, than to convince them they have been fooled.

GPT has become a fantastic contemplation tool for me.

It's not good at generating really unique ideas, but it is excellent at helping me to articulate intuitions I have. It can also be effective at asking good questions, which allows me to probe deeper than I might have on my own.

Timewise it's an investment. It only becomes really powerful once it already understands your thinking and how you operate. I put in a lot of hours for mine to get to that point. But now it immediately knows where I'm likely to go with things and what I will find relevant.

I will not break, 'cause I've been riding the curves of these infinity words and so I'll be on my way. I will not stay.

 And it goes On and On, On and On"
