Croatia or Spain?

I’m planning a solo trip in June to explore parts of the Trans Euro Trail (motorcycle dirt road network). I love lakes and mountain ranges. The plan is to ride and film during the day and then hit some bars or social spots at night. I want to meet open, friendly people and be somewhere with a good nightlife for solo travelers. I'll probably stay in hostels.

People who’ve been to both countries: what would you recommend and why? Especially in terms of social vibe and meeting fun, open-minded women. Also, if anyone knows of any events, festivals or gatherings happening at end of June, I’d love to hear about them ✌️

Both have beautiful nature, can't go wrong either way. 
I've only been to Croatia in passing, so my experience is limited, but I've lived in Spain for over 10 years. For the kind of social activities you're looking for, as well as lodging, Spain is probably more suitable, particularly in large cities such as Barcelona/Madrid (which your trail skips; too bad, would've been nice to hang out)/Malaga. While no specific events come to mind, there's always something going on. June weather might make you sweat though. It may also come as a surprise that more people in CR speak English, though that's mostly an issue in truly rural areas, and even then Spanish is quite a simple language to get the basics of in comparison. 
In general Spain is very accommodating for tourists in many aspects. Meeting other foreigners from all over the world is much more frequent here for sure. I've never interacted with women in a pickup context as that doesn't interest me, but simply on a personal level they're casual and easygoing, making for pleasant conversation. From what I hear and see, pretty sexually open too.

Appreciate the detailed reply. Never met anyone from Croatia, but had a few touchpoints with Spanish people and liked the vibe I get from the culture, so I’m kinda leaning that way.

Barcelona would actually be on my route, Madrid might be a bit of a detour since I’m limited on km cause of tire life, but it's not off the table. How's the vibe in smaller cities or mountain villages, not totally quiet? I'm not really interested in pickup, more just naturally meeting people and seeing where that takes me.

And if you’re around when I pass through, would be cool to hang out 👍

Probably Spain. I would dare wager that croatian local's default behaviour towards the tourists is pretty transactional and not as social as in Spain. They are also more guarded. I'd say that would be a pretty accurate estimation, but it of course depends on who you are and what you're trying to do, as always LOL

It is a lot of people's experience, particuliarly foreign men who try to rizz up balkan baddies in the club, so to speak; are sometimes met with hostility and this weird cringe territorial thinking from balkan men, and Croatia kinda belongs to that region, so. And it's kind of just transactional in general, in a sense that I always got the feeling that besides providing good service to you, locals don't want much else to do with you. But idk I bet many people have different experiences so
