A small woman effortlessly beating up 20 bodybuilders, gay people injected into the storyline for obviously no reason at all other than to push it, "them" pronouns. Not saying it's right or wrong. Just saying that if you scroll Netflix for a few days half the stuff is going to be this. You can't avoid it.

TV IS NOT REALITY, not ever close. It's drama, entertainment, art. It's not education, it's not something to watch religiously(this is your issue). I'm being honest, you're treating TV like a religion, "we need more straight people on tv". You have mental illness(I'm NOT joking here).

Personally, when I watch TV or movies, I want there to be some level of realism, even when it’s fantasy. If not, it’s completely useless junk to me. For example, if a fantasy story takes place in a medieval society, I don’t wanna see a diverse population and feminism, but rather a Stage Blue society. This is why I couldn’t watch The Wheel of Time, for example.

There are probably bigger reasons than this for why Hollywood has turned to shit, but it certainly isn’t helping.
