Why don't enlightened people free everyone?

30 posts in this topic

If you've achieved godhood and see all the ways people act, why they do it and how to fix it since "you" are infinity. Why not fix or help "ungodly/unenlightened" people to understand what they miss?

Because they seem to really, really like them-selves. A lot. The perception may be, these selves are all they have...

Some people willingly move out of home as part of process. But most people do not appreciate being evicted xD

It is far easier to fool someone, than to convince them they have been fooled.

Can you teach a baby to run a triathlon and solo hike Mount Everest when it has yet to learn how to walk?

Because they will think that you are insane.

Can't help an addict until they are ready, until they hit rock botton.

that's a lazy strawman :p, i can show, put him/her in a situation she/he needs to walk and progressively increase the difficulty.

i don't see anyone giving actionable rooted steps. mostly mental mumbo jumbo, woo and posing as something higher without showing the steps that get there

That's cause you people can only point, you must walk the way, take the steps, be accountable and responsible for your own life.  There thousands of solid teachings and guides out there, and often we miss them because we haven't realized the truth within ourselves, that even in the most mundane things, you can discover the truth. I'll give you 3 pointers, stillness, silence and surrender.

You are a seeker by nature, then. Most others are not. Even my family, who proclaim to be so spiritual, would be terrified of the process I have been through in this work. Most do not hit the 'boring' & 'absurd' phases until well into life. Some not at all! And some have no understanding of what is actually wrong... just that they cannot put their finger on it :)

Regarding this.

It might be worthy to note each of us see a different facet of truth in each teaching. Depending on where we are at.

Some might be taking away a completely different message or truth.

Often, in the path, when you return to teachings that were foundations for other teachings - they take on a completely different meaning and truth....

What kind of response is this? Of course the enlightened help others.  Where they can.  Sometimes they are just trying to help themselves. Enlightened individuals are usually not wealthy because they dont play into the corporate games. So asking them for help financially may not be possible.  But they will always help in other ways.

"stillness, silence and surrender" that was a needed reminder, cheers.
what to do with different feeling and thought about what's right?
my mental models tells me its right and it makes sense on thought level but when i actually start putting in the work it feels dreadful to do and like life is this dreadful treadmill i have to keep suffer trough until i get some place safe and die peacefully

Example: i should work more, develop a skill like a data engineering, get a job and be financially stable, make kids or get more responsibility so i can have more for a comfortable "spot" in life to do ????????(idk what)

Advice only goes so far. But if you are willing to listen I have a ton to give.

You shouldn't / need-not do anything, if you are suffering, you need to rest and take a little break from life and be with yourself fully. The mind panics when it has nothing to engage in and distract itself or escape to. Go camping in nature for a few days or weeks, leave the phone at home.

i wouldn't say different but higher and lower levels, not everybody is a snowflake

example:
Freedom is choosing what you’ll be responsible for
low: freedom = obligation

mid: responsibility creates real options(trust, skill, stability)

high: you see you can’t control everything, but you can always choose your stance so freedom becomes inner, not external.

High freedom would mean you are responsible for other's freedoms. And the taking away of that freedom. So the question is - would you take another's freedom to preserve your own?

are u de-enlightened?
financial wealth is a speck of dust compared to the knowledge about  inner workings of how "everything" works. If they cant help with that idk if they are really enlightened or being enlightened doesn't come with a "mental super saiyan" upgrade :P
