Retro game console recommendations

5 posts in this topic

Ive been wanting to get a retro console that isnt too expensive to relive nostalgia and stuff. I would like to play up to ps2 game because thats what I played most as a kid with my brother.

Ive seen a lot of great reviews on this product, but its more for the really old stuff, it doesnt seem the have the neccessary compute to handle ps2 era games.

Anyone have recommendations or advice?

sega dreamcast, atari, original nintendo, neo geo pocket, gameboy, game cube. You could literally just go to google and type in 90s/2000s consoles. but if its ps2 era you want, then the other rivals at the time were original xbox, and game cube

True. I should specify I want a retro console emulator.

The product above can do all of those up to ps1, and comes preloaded with 4000 vintage games. No ads, no microtransactions, just games.

Internet said the best option is to buy a mini computer.

The prebuilt ones are all fucked if you wanna do ps2.

There are some that are like 500 and it says that their harddrives they use are trash.

There's PCSX2 and similar software options, too.
