Good video for peeking into the psychology of the achiever archetype.

Of course it comes from trauma for most achievers. I used to put pressure on myself and overwork only to prove to myself that I was worthy.

Yes, and it is important to recognize that, because this forum have a strong focus on action, success, even terms like "wage-slavery". This attitude migh have some trauma behind.

It definitely was the case for me. I contemplated my reasons for striving to become a great writer for a couple of weeks, and finally I found out that at the very bottom it was out of a desire to stand above all people that have hurt me in the past, to sort of become a higher human, one of exceptional worth. And why I wanted that was just for love--I wanted to be loved.

Finding this out allowed me to immerse myself in my authentic motivation for writing: because I love it, and I want to show people their angel. It has allowed me to stop writing out of fear, and start writing out of love.

All the best.

there lay an invincible summer.

I have encountered this a lot.

It is a very good reason to do inner work to investigate what is really intrinsic to us.

It is far easier to fool someone, than to convince them they have been fooled.
