Bunch of semi-original Aphorisms

Don't get behind yourself, don't get ahead of yourself, get with yourself.

The body is a mere flesh-suit for the soul.

The grass is browner on the other side.

Most men literally never receive compliments. Compliment the men in your life. It will make their year!

Karma exists, Absolutely.

Generosity of spirit is the most underrated virtue.

Practicing what you preach is harder to preach than practice.

Rolled my ankle skating today and now have cankles. Nothing humbles a man faster than having cankles.

Always make the 'hard' choice. Your future self will be grateful.

At the end of the day, we all karmically pave our own way.

Flexibility of mind is essential for seeing lucidly.

Just do what you want (within reason and a sound understanding of potential consequences.) Trust Your Will -- no one elses.

Easy choices, hard life. Hard choices, harder life. Harder, yes, but more profound.

First and foremost, you've got to look after yourself. Everyone else should be secondary. You help others by helping yourself.

Being overly cautious is no virtue.

Collective change starts with the individual. If something doesn't align with your personal values, don't partake in it.

If you hate yourself, go take a shower.

Sometimes those with the biggest egos, have the smallest egos.

I outran reality.

Do you feel at home or do you feel existentially lost at the bottom of your being ? Most people are lost..  Especially those who feel at home.

"When you get very serious about truth you accept your life situation exactly as it is. So much so that you aren't childishly sitting around wishing it were otherwise. If you were confined to a wheelchair you would just accept it as how reality is. Just as you now just accept that you are not a bird who can fly."

Home/not home is another duality, but I see what you’re saying. The thing with being deluded, is you don’t know you’re deluded.

Well do they just sound deep or are they actually deep? Sometimes it’s hard to distinguish between the two ofc

how bout you post the one’s you came up with and we’ll let other (less biased) parties decide?

anyone that has over 10000 posts on this forum should have to take a 2 month hiatus every year imho.

Oh I know, bro.
As Gautama Buddha said — and my identity is METTEYYA Buddha

When out in the forest one day, the Buddha grabbed a handful of leaves from a tree in the  forest. He said to the Sangha (monks): See these leaves. These represent the knowledge I have revealed to you. The rest of the leaves in this gigantic forest represent the totality of my knowledge.

I can absolutely relate.

Hence why I am an Agnostic Progressive Vegan Revelatory Universalist.

Much to dive deep into with those words alone. Many won’t even know what a Universalist or Revelatory mean, I wager ❤️

Quite distasteful.

It is far easier to trick someone, than to convince them they have been tricked.

But I like a lot of yours and they're worth thinking about. Questioning our assumptions and scripts etc...
