i just watched leo's video called what is death?-how immortality works

he basically says that when u pass after that u become formless and keep reincarnating over and over and over and over again till humanity  ceases to exist? but if its formless can't you choose not to or choose anything else? any thoughts?

If you take Leo’s framing seriously, the key idea isn’t really reincarnation as a cycle you’re stuck in. It’s that formless consciousness never actually stops expressing itself. There’s no “pause screen” after death where you step back and make a menu choice. The part of you that chooses only exists after a self has already formed.

Formlessness isn’t freedom in the way we imagine it. It’s more like pure potential without a reference point, and potential naturally moves into expression. Not because someone forces it, but because that’s what awareness does when it isn’t holding itself still.

So the real question isn’t “Why can’t I choose something else?”

It’s “Who is the ‘I’ that thinks it stands outside the process?”

In the way Leo describes it, you don’t reincarnate because you’re trapped. You reincarnate because existence keeps unfolding, and you’re one of the ways it happens.

@Franz_I think it depends on karma, do you know anything outside of being a human? Can you even come up with something? Even if you think about being an alien it will be related to being a human. I think its about your identity, if you identify with a human you will be a human if you expand the definition of a human to an expression of energy then you become expression of energy.

I take it seriously in the sense that I think he’s pointing at something real, but I don’t treat the metaphors as literal physics. For me it’s more about the idea that consciousness never really stops unfolding, and that what we call “death” isn’t the end of that movement.

Do I agree with every detail he describes? Not necessarily.

But the core intuition, that formless awareness doesn’t just disappear but reshapes, that part resonates with me.

So I’m open to it, but I hold it lightly.

Nothing would Exist without Karma! Karma is not reward or punishment system, Karma is memory of all sorts.. When Leo say Genetics plays a role in Awakening, he is saying Karma plays a role as Genes are just a form of memory...

So all forms that are around, stones, planets, stars, suns, apes, humans have Karma, living and non living things.

For Humans it is more complex, we have evolved thru maybe thousands of cycles of forms, from rocks to plants to insects to animals to a Human, and probably many forms/cycles of being Human, all of that comes with You when YOU are born, Your playing it all out now as we speak and it reflects in Your personality, your dreams, what You think about and wish for, but most are completely unaware of this and the processes of Karma.

For Us Humans we can bypass Karma completely via Living Now Totally, Accepting Now Totally, raising our Consciousness to a very high degree, etc etc...

When Your present body dies, the other bodies with Your karmic substance intact go on (we all have 5 bodies, food, mental, energy, astral, bliss bodies), when Your body dies, the karma is still in the energy body and such and it and the astral/bliss body go on to find another host per say, this can be done consciously or unconsciously, ultimately You can choose which body to incarnate into, most are not conscious enough so their tendencies, basic core of their being (were they acting living like a pig while alive, a saint, a murder, an almost enlightened being) directs them thru this process, there is no discretion in this realm of afterlife, just tendencies/karma guides it all.. Then Your born again to do it all over again, 

If Your Spiritually inclined for some reason today, it probably means You were a bit in the last life, so keep up with it and maybe end the cycle.. They also say that what Your State of Being is at the moment of death will go on in the after life, if Your in fear and scared, suffering in anyway at death, You will experience that there too, if Your Blissful and at Peace with death, that will be Your experience there they say!

I'ts like you are describing a video game . This is worse than religious fairy tales .this is cartoonish fantasy. 

You are the source of existence. Never born and never dies. The details don't matter.

Yes you never die . There is no moment of death  like this exact moment is the moment im dead at . Because there is no such thing as a "moment ". Because a moment means a static dot or something still. But reality never stops changing .so there is no moment which before it youre dead and after it you're alive .because its one stream flowing there is no pause .

The core of Reality, what You really are never changes, its only the ripples that change, the things You are not that are changing, Your Body, Your Mind, Your Ideologies, thoughts, dreams, intentions, etc these things change because that is the way they are supposed to be, if our bodies never changed, then we would never grow up, go thru adolescence and acquire the experiences necessary to have a quality life.. But what You really are never changes!
