Do You Use Fluoride?

7 posts in this topic

I heard that fluoride actually damages teeth than helps it.

What do you think? Is there anyone who brushes their teeth without toothpaste?

Flouride is a natural mineral like calcium. They say it protects the teeth, I've seen nothing that contradicts that.

How they found flouride was good for teeth was that they found a community with good teeth, tested their water, it was higher than average in flouride,....

Yes, sodium fluoride (the "artificial" stuff they add to tap water and mainstream toothpastes) is toxic and does not behave the same in the body as natural fluoride found in nature, which is at extremely small amounts 0.05ppm.

What is found in modern tap water and toothpastes is 1. Not the natural chemical and 2. 100 - 1000x more concentrated.

So do you use something instead of toothpaste?

There are many natural toothpastes out there without toxic ingredients like sodium fluoride. I alternate between clay-based toothpastes and oil-based ones. I also practice oil pulling with various essential oils and sometimes herbs or spices. Neem rubs are good too, to massage the gums.

Rinse with mouthwash usually made from baking soda(aluminum free),  sea salt and essential oils.

You would also need to avoid processed foods. Fluoride is in many things today.

Always read ingredients, educate yourself and take control of your health and life.

:)
