My favourite Alan Watts quote:

If you spend all day thinking, you have nothing to think about other than thoughts

Osho is relevant here:

Life is not a mystery to be solved, but an experience to be had

Drinking coffee with cigs rn. Pure bliss 🙌

all day to myself. couldn’t be better —

ate some golden teachers yesterday as well, which was pure serendipity. Just found some when I was walking around my neighbourhood 😤

I know you’re Australian (I’ve been lurking on this forum for ages).

I’m in Brisbane. You’re in Melbourne if I remember correctly?

How do you know your work is done?

How do you know that is not self-deception?

"Finding your reason can be so deceiving, a subliminal place.

Pure Clarity. It’s simply impossible to not know the Truth when it’s right in front of your nose. Speakin of nose, might snort some coke 2nite..

“Oh no, not cocaine. That’s a “bad” drug.”

Just read gymbro Instagram statuses bro, that's where the true stoicism is. What the hell would one of the most famous and battle hardened Roman emperors know about stoicism. No no no, what you need is broicism. Lifting a man made weight up, putting it down, up, down, etc. That's where the true wisdom lies

@Carl-Richard

The way non-doer ship occurs in my experience (it would be different for everyone — even if technically in the same ‘state’

It is a state of mind where there is no tension whatsoever, and you’ve seen through the illusion of free will and completely trust the Universe/God

Btw, I’ll leave with a lil zen koan: Schrödinger’s God 😒

Not 12 sentences but brevity is an underrated virtue.

most people’s conversations have about as much significance as a kookaburra chirpin.

With no sarcasm this time tho, I'm more and more inclined to think that real self improvement is simply just limited to increasing knowledge/some skills and physical strength and that's about it. Those are the only things you can improve about yourself without needing any luck, genetics or external social manipulations. So you're doing a good thing for yourself by reading that book and I should be doing the same. There really isn't much else to do in this life, especially for us introverts
