What to do after psychedelics trips — how to get the most of it ?

Hey everyone,

I started experimenting with 5-MeO. Some of the trips were pretty light, and others were quite strong
the most powerful trips I’ve had weren’t really high doses, which is good for early experiences.
Still, some of them were quite intense and gave me some really interesting insights.

I’m not sure I’ve experienced God-mode, though I think I’ve come close. For example, I realized that life is one big joke. I also became aware that sometimes I self-sabotage by refusing to listen to or express my emotions. More recently, during my latest trip, I’ve had new insights that seem to connect to the earlier ones — they all feel somehow linked together.

Here’s my issue:
Right after these 5-MeO trips, I feel a lot more conscious, like I have access to a different kind of intelligence. But I’m not sure I’m doing the right things afterward to really work on those insights.

I also don’t feel like I’m doing any deep emotional work like leo said it would induce.

Usually, I just reflect a bit on what I learned and how it applies to my daily life — but I keep wondering if there are methods or practices I should follow to really integrate these insights and keep their benefits long-term.

I feel that it is to easy to really be efficient

I’d love to hear thoughts on this,

Since in his videos leo said it takes hard emotional work afterward. But I’m not sure I’m actually doing that work, and when I rewatch his videos, the advice still feels a bit vague as to how to apply it — so I’m not confident I’m applying it correctly.

So I’d really appreciate any guidance or practical advice on what to do after these trips — either in general or for specific cases.

Thanks a lot!

I find it important to leave room afterwards, not being on my phone, not doing to many things, just being.

I like to write a trip report. I also like to find an image that encapsulates the feelings of the trip, so it's not only linguistic. Then I re-read the trip the next day, and the next week and the next month. Then maybe when the year is ending I re-read all the trips from that year and I rediscover forgotten gems and contemplate on my path, etc.

Overall, don't be on the phone, go have a walk usually works nicely for me, going into nature, listening to good music, preparing a nice meal, dancing, etc.

You kinda want to leave room to decompress but not to forget and enter into survival mode either, so it's important to get a right balance. I'm sure you'll figure it out brother.

Lots of Love,

Davino

God-Realize, this is First Business. Know that unless I live properly, this is not possible.

There is this body, I should know the requirements of my body. This is first duty.  We have obligations towards others, loved ones, family, society, etc. Without material wealth we cannot do these things, for that a professional duty.

There is Mind; mind is tricky. Its higher nature should be nurtured, then Mind becomes Wise, Virtuous and AWAKE. When all Duties are continuously fulfilled, then life becomes steady. In this steady life GOD is available; via 5-MeO-DMT, because The Sun shines through All: Living in Self-Love, Realizing I am Infinity & I am God

It's not guaranteed to induce it. Some people don't have the work to do.

The best thing I do is drive around late at night in just contemplate the experiences.

You don't need to over-complicate this. You are acting like 5-MeO is supposed to be a school teacher giving you homework assignments. That's not how it works.

You are God. You are Truth. You are Love. You are Infinity.

Driving is really good because you will start automatic thinking while driving. I cry alot of times when I am just driving. You are highly alert and chill while driving. Driving is like meditation mental state.

Sometimes it's the journey itself that teaches/ A lot about the destination not aware of/No matter how far/
How you go/How long it may last/Venture life, burn your dread
