Will magic truffles treat my mental health problems?

5 posts in this topic

I don't know what i have, they told me i have autism (asperger), i think i have ADHD i could be wrong. I feel intense boredom doing simple stuff, i struggle doing things i thought i like. I am way better than I was, but it stills bother me. My brain definitely doesn't work the way other people's brain work. I am slow thinking, not creative, don't even have a sense of humour, but I am very strong at analyzation, philosophy. I am dependent on other people to survive cause of my neurodivergence.

I have heard that psycedelics can make you appreciate life, so i wonder if it's the ultimate solution to my problems.

I can go to Netherlands to try magic truffles cause I have relatives there and it's legal but that's the only psychedelics I can get my hands on. Magic mushrooms became illegal there cause someone took their lives as far as i know.

And if maggic truggles are the solution, I wonder how to do them. Can I do them alone? How much should i take? what do i do when i take them?

It's not the ultimate solution, nor a permanent one, but something potentially very useful regardless. Be more accurate to say psychedelics open you up to radical new possibilities and set your life on a different trajectory; it's an ongoing, unending process though.

Speaking from personal experience, not even 100+ serious trips made the anhedonia go away entirely. In a way, it has actually worsened, because I now have utterly alien reference experiences of possible states of consciousness that nothing on this planet will ever come close to. Don't let that discourage you, I regret nothing and wouldn't have it any other way. It's an issue of perception — as though living in a perpetually thick fog, which means an abnormally intense light is required to shine through it. And the truth is we're still bound by constraints of physical reality, including brain chemistry, no matter how imaginary it all is nor how conscious you are of the fact. One cannot meditate, enlighten, or psychedelic out of a mental illness like ADHD or schizophrenia, but what you can do is temporarily awaken many times over and use those pieces to practically change your life at some level. Learning to work with whatever you're given is as important as striving to improve. I'm gradually coming to terms with the fact life is boring, much like with meaninglessness it's not reasonable to color that negatively. And none of it can diminish the pure magnificence of the fact that I'm conscious, so all is well. That's the sort of truth working with psychedelics can help you see in all its glory, which then becomes a saving grance and guiding principle, allowing to withstand whatever challenges life has in store. Without it I may have already been dead.

Now, having Asperger's in the mix complicates things, although it doesn't seem as inherently risky as some other conditions. At the very least be prepared to have your analytical mind completely turned to mush, particularly on something as twisted as psilocybin. There's no safeguards, only the mindset to enjoy or at least go along with whatever comes up.

If you're fine with a slightly higher degree of experimentation, look into research chemicals, way more options there while still legal. Truffles are a decent start, they were my first time too. A powerful but smooth trip with 15g, a standard pack. Lower dose works as well, but below 7g is probably a waste. Beware, they taste absolutely awful. Alone is best, not away from civilization though. Ideally have a trip killer like a benzo around, mostly for peace of mind. Ones offered in smoke shops are duds. Up to you what to do, you can set a specific intention for the trip or let the psychedelic fully take the driver's seat, both work where appropriate.

Good luck.

Whichever way you turn, there is the face of God

Taste like what you think dirt taste like. And you have to chew them thoroughly.

Truffles are good for contemplation in my experience. Makes you hyper present and your thoughts accelerate in a way that they seemingly implode into themselves. On higher doses you might see patterns and feel like your steering your body like your a marionette pulling its own strings.

I look forward to using truffles for personal development soon myself.

They won't undo your autism I'm afraid.

A psychedelic assisted therapist told me that mdma+shrooms in a therapeutic setting is very powerful. Autism and ADHD are related it's kinda like they're the same thing I thinkkkk..but not fact checked that. I'm about 90% sure I have it. This combo would be more for trauma processing but I don't know for autism. You'd have to research it and make a clear goal like what you want

Doing psychedelics wont permanently rewire your brain (exception makes the rule stronger). The way they could help you is helping you understand yourself better. Its often advised for some neurodivergent people not to take psychedelics, i would say if you have ADHD you are fine, about autism i dont know, but in any case, you have to do your own research!!

If you are going to do truffles, i think 15g of the strongest truffles are equivalent to about 2g of mushrooms, but im not sure if i remember correctly, so again do your own research!! The best protocol is to calculate the amount of psilocybin in them.

For the first time microdosing would be a good idea. For ROA you can just eat them as they are. Chew them very very well. Take them on an empty stomach.

After you took them you can go for a walk in a safe environment (i like nature) or just sit down and do nothing (the effects will only come about an hour btw.) You can put background music on, but dont make it distracting. You can listen to guided metidations as well or spiritual teachings, but i would wait with that after the effect has peaked.
