Social Critique and Parody Allowance?

7 posts in this topic

Hi. I'm new here though had seen some amount of actualized videos over the years.

I've read through the guidilines and I  base the presumed allowence under point 2 in "what is allowed" , being "strong opinions.."

Many places on the internet thrive on convinient and emotionally ticking content. And its hard to be at university today without subscribing to mass bias.

Some of the mass stupidity can be only adressed via satire... or so myself find myself beliving...

Some of the questioning of widely accepted norms can rise the eyebrows however they had been blindly accepted in the first place thus when questioned people in question can scarcely provide arguments for their faith.

Thus I would like to humbly enquire to what extent parody, satire and questioning of established mainstream narrative is here allowed... or shall I say... even welcome?

Thy humble servant

His unholiness Lord of Darkness

Hard to say. It depends.

Try and we will see.

But something tells me if you are asking this question you are going to post something low consciousness and regressive.

Anti-woke trolling?

What topics are you exactly interested in discussing, and from what angle?

??? ... %%%

It being contemplative as to the natural philosophy and emerging dynamics.

In your episode on "how society makes you stupid" you make various points that out of context perhaps would be considered contoversial or could tick off some people. But in my view its a dive into subject that is important but taken shortly becomes vulgar calling of names but in some extent it just frames the conversation in broader consideration.

Yes I might be diving in some primal things. "Low consciousness" , "regressive", "Anti-woke trolling" ... these could be considered negative conotation terms. And I could perhaps write a whole post just about breaking down those terms and offer more neutral ones instead. But these requires bit of context.

Doing comedy or satire can be walking a tight rope and diffrent people can recive it differently.

I would call it: geking out on philosophy with satirical twist or "voltaireing it", cos... as to paraphrase Nietzsche "one must have chaos within to give a birth to dancing star"

I guess we'll see how it goes... as you put it...

Various things. I can write political parody. I can unfold a relationship of perfect male and female pathology as they meet and make kaboom. I can explore antropological stanpoint for certain dynamics to be naturally emerging however not set in stone. I'm not one sided, its more like taking diffrent test tubes in the lab of ideas and see what happens when you put things to various arrangements...

Your writing is very peculiar, but I'm sure your posts will be well met if they are substantive and empirically grounded.
