UGGGgghh... just had an annoying and frustrating experiencing with customer service. I got angry at them, but then reminded myself that they are human and doing the best they can. So then I said thank you with a smiling face and praised them for their good work.

Responsible people who actually deserve to use it shouldn't be punished for it; I'm on the conservative side when it comes to this. I will start using it as soon as it becomes available; not daily. Only occasionally, before therapy, so I can go deeper into my healing.

Edit: Yes, we need to continue expanding medical access. And yes, seeing a provider who guides you on using it is wise. I didn't get full dispensary access until a year of being in the program. 

It's like a video game, you don't get the reward unless you worked your ass for it first.

The medical team will remove the tube today. Before they do that, my mother was able to express my truth to her. Thank you Mom for your courage during this difficult time.

She was there for me when I was at my worst as a teenager. In my darkest moments, she offered light.

And yet, she too was a victim of abuse. Neither of us deserved that weight. Two wrongs don’t make a right; hurt doesn’t cancel hurt, it only deepens the wound. And so here we are, marked deeply by harm, yet still moving forward.

What comforts me now is knowing that we are not bound to survival alone. We get to transcend it.. not together as two, but as One. Love and Truth freeing us into something more gentle and whole.

Let the masking continue to unfold.
