What is Discomfort?

I think it’s best to contemplate that while in discomfort

Can't drink coffee within a dream to wake up from it.

So my salted caramel lattes are of no use

To wake up from ''the dream'' just spend time with yourself, own breath and own image until you wake up, is that simple.

I find in my own journey that this has undid layers to the ego but I never got the entire thing

That's the spirit! bang your ego up against that wall enough times and you'll have a true breakthrough, beyond all silly games. Do you dare??

Kinda hard to turn my senses off…

Thats what dying is. Its like being put on a timeout in a dark room that you cant move think hear or speak in. You cant look away and you have to sit there and deal with it. Eventuall you deal with it and respawn but you dont know when. So you come to a peaceful state where you just stop struggling and stare for infinite time.

You are stuck in nothingness right now you just can't handle it so you pretend something is here.

But dying I think includes end of self too

Its not me pretending I’m here..reality is

I had a nightmare this week.
I am a little weird in the way that I can kinda enjoy nightmares: because I find it interesting what my mind is able to imagine. I’m impressed sometimes by the complexity of my dreams. How my mind is able to imagine so vividly and structured without my conscious effort. I also tend to be somewhat aware while I dream that I’m dreaming: contributing to me not being very fearful of nightmares (although I can still be a little freaked out)

I don’t remember that much but what stood out about the nightmare was that I imagined that I was about to get “stuck” in a kind of nothingness.

Basically I dreamt that I was going to enter a state where my ego was still there, but all my senses were off, so no sight, no smell, no touch, no hearing etc. And I dreamt that I was being stuck in that nothingness and couldn’t escape, couldn’t move or nothing.

I wonder how that would be. Would one go absolutely insane from that? Like imagine if all your senses would “turn off” but you still had your ego and was aware of that “nothingness”. Creepy right.

Don't worry, there is no "me" there.

Dumbest advice ever.

EVERYBODY knows that it only works with a flat white + a chocolate croissant 🥐

That's good but it doesn't go far enough. Wait for a Grande Toasted Marshmallow Hot Chocolate with an Espresso Shot and Vanilla Drizzle for the real Diabetes Awakening.

:P

And it only works if you pour it in the butt instead of the mouth. In the butt of another dream stranger, of course. Without warning or consent, that's the only way it works I have been told (by a guy with two horns and a creepy smile)
