It seems to me that it is just another cope for death. You and I both will die, or at least our bodies. Are we immortal? Maybe, but maybe not. I would say better make it count while you are here.

Thanks for your reply. I don’t fear sleep, for me it’d be like being asleep. If death is something I never wake up from then I’ll be not aware of the awakening anyway. But if death is something you do wake up from, then I guess I’m immortal.

My gut tells me I’ve already woken from death, the proof is I’m alive right now.

Welp. Guess I’m fully awakened now because I have zero fear of death since being saved by Jesus. In fact I kinda look forward to it now. No amount of self realization was able to do that for me. It was all Jesus

At some point I was on the verge of converting to a Muslim because Islam is a beautiful religion. Quran is a good book .and the Bible is a good book. The thing is truth is infinite and cannot be written in a finite book.

@Mellowmarsh Sigmund Freud have said whatever you get indoctrinated into in the age range 5-10 tends to stick in your head for the rest of your life . god is unconditional love . God loves and accepts everything indiscriminately. Not just those who accept Jesus deserve God's love and the rest burn in hell fire .

Nothing was said about religion or burning in hell.

 

All I read was an awakening to the truth was realised which is good news isn’t? The truth was realised, isn’t that what self-realisation is all about?

True but that's implied . If you say Jesus then you automatically include the entire Christian worldview ..ontology..and biology.  Like original sin..that we are sinners who must repent..that the story of creation in genesis is true rather than evolution and that ONLY those who accept Jesus as their Lord and savior shall enter paradise and the rest ..straight to hell .
