The Few Own Everything, the Rest Starve. Born to Serve the Few Who Own Everything

This is horrible!!!!

There is enough abundance and affordable housing for everyone!!! But most of the resources and land are concentrated in a few hands that don't give a fuck about you or me. They don't give a fuck about anything but themselves. I see it all. They own everything, land, wealth, life itself. We’re nothing to them. Millions of us live, struggle, die, and they barely notice. There’s enough for everyone, but it never reaches us. We’re disposable, forgotten, collateral in their accumulation. Humanity is a resource they don’t need. And the system? It’s built to keep it that way. Cold.

The Royal Family owns over 6.6 billion acres of land, more than a sixth of the planet. The Catholic Church owns 173 million acres worldwide. Countries like Russia, Canada, and China control massive tracts too. Russia’s natural resources are worth $75 trillion, the U.S.’s $45 trillion, and Saudi Arabia’s $34 trillion. And most people? We get scraps. There’s enough for everyone, but it flows only to them. It’s cold, deliberate, fucked up.

Yup. Politics is designed to give the illusion of a functional government which then has the people pitted against each other...and it's working

Imagine if the people organized, united around a commonality, and begun to build. It may be a pipe dream but the possibility is still available.

That's literally what government is.

What you want already happened. And we are living the result.

@Leo Gura not at all. I'm not talking about forming any one organization. To understand what I'm speaking to requires the curiosity and imagination of child.

@MightyMind Requires the naivete of a child.

Government is never one organization.

We fight amongst ourselves and made it happen. Jealousy, hatred and envy is the engine. Complacency the destination and motivation the transportation. We have been motivated which created jealousy hatred and envy which made us complacent because we continue to hope for a better future which never comes. Motivation isn't a good thing believe it or not because it requires a someone that's not willing and needs to be motivated and that's dependency.

All of this are recipes for the "other" to hide behind and take advantage of. We have depended on a system that was designed to fail us and we allowed it because we became complacent as a species and saw everything as "life". A life to struggle and work for while they stole from us by tapping into our emotions. We are too emotionally driven and appearance-driven and worry about self-image. So consumerism ate us alive.

What you know leaves what you don't know and what you don't know is all there is.

@Leo Gura maybe a little naivety is a good thing. And I never said anything about government. I'm speaking to something much more than any kind of government, or "solution", but those realities would be within the umbrella I could speak to.

The child's curiosity is required for this type of conversation. I'm looking to create through dialogue.

Anyone interested in building new civilisations?

@MightyMind Building civilization, by definition, requires power. The allocation of power, by definition, is called politics and government.

Organizing people is politics and government.

You're not inventing anything new in this domain. Humans have been working this domain for 10,000 years and what we have today is the best we've been able to come up.

The vibe reminds me a bit of this.

@Leo Gura

there’s enough for everyone, but the way power has been organized makes sure it never reaches us. If this is the best we managed, it's a nightmare

@Leo Gura

Basically your grounding the discussion in realpolitik?

one economic collapse, AI disruption, climate breakdown, or resource war and the paradise falls apart.

I 💯 percent agree with you, compared to how brutal it is and was, I don't take my freedom and safety for granted at all. But I'm not gonna shut up and say it's perfect.

I like that. Question, have humans always centralized power? Are any new ideas in this domain worth considering or are they just pie in the sky, new age civilization and utopian fairytales? Are humans really this predictable?

Power is survival. Humans are always after more survival.

Of course there are many new ideas. We need more people thinking new ideas. The problem is that most people are so politically dogmatic and conformist that they don't allow new ideas to enter their mind. It is worthwhile to invent better, newer forms of government, but these ideas need to be grounded and realistic to our current development level.

Humans are very predictable, but society is evolving all the time. It just looks slow from an individual's POV.

Is there a point in raising consciousness and development even if you don't have the resources and the power? Even if it doesn’t give you land, money, or political power?

Basically what I'm getting at, is that I'm afraid that I won't be able to survive or acquire power while I take a step back, raise consciousness, see patterns and grow my awareness. Situation won't change while I'm tripping balls in the dark

@Leo Gura Well what happened if we directed our attention towards building new ideas and with a focus on the infrastructure (farming, housing, education, affordable fixable vehicles etc). What happens if we did it in a focused and creative way which brought many minds together and where we begin to build a resource center of solutions. We'd be potent, and in turn it could be the beginning of something big, which could lead to the building of new civilizations. Building new civilizations is not something that happens over night, nor is it brought forth by one person or one idea. Although, look at what came from the mind of this guy, one person, and yet we are many...many who claim to be God, all powerful, all capable etc. This should be possible, no?

Depends on what you want out of life.

There's no reason why you couldn't raise your consciousness and also be successful in business. There are many healthy forms of business.

Don't forget that there are ways of making millions of dollars while also doing good for the world.

You could sit down, write a book, and make a million dollars and this does not contradict being highly conscious.
