Hey @Petals !

A great majority of NDErs state that what they saw or felt can't be describe with language, so I understand that I can't know what NDEs are. I don't view them as a map of the after-life either. Yet, when people keep pointing to a ''love they have never felt on Earth'' or share a deep insight regarding love, compassion or forgiveness, I can't help but feel they are pointing to the truth/reality.

As for Jesus, while not a Christian, I'm deeply inspired by his message of unconditional love (like Matt Khan) and that's where I see a strong parallel between his teachings and what NDErs are sharing.

@Petals No - entity experiences. After the first one a different experience of reality was opened up (this is how I perceived it).

Once I had one, many more followed.

NDE, OBE, psychic phenomena, experiencers, telepathy... I perceive they are linked in some way

Deal with the issue now, on your terms, in your control. Or the issue will deal with you, in ways you won't appreciate, and cannot control.

There is an interesting trend between NDEs and spiritual work - spiritual work is about uncovering the 'truth' and part of that is realising the activities of the 'self' or 'ego' (or what-have-you) are obscuring your ability to experience this defined reality. No self. Not-knowing. Emptying. Truth-blindness.

Many people that have NDE's try to explain how things became so 'crystal clear' within the experience. Everything is more real. During this time much brain activity is reduced. Almost as it if in the process the 'self' or 'ego' is being removed and true experience is revealed. The brain is emptying thought... ego.. perhaps?

To reveal the truth...

Just my thoughts

To draw the line to the videos: What you are saying - "spiritual work" - one could also call "removing/reducing the veil" right?

The way I perceive it, the veil is a combination of different things:

  • set of assumptions about our experience, thoughts (mainly created by culture)
  • a way of perceiving and expressing reality (fear vs love)
  • a clarity about human behavior, an intuitive knowing why people do something

Reducing the veil then goes along with changed actions because the way you relate to life changes
