That's just not true, small example, in Iran men are not allowed to wear shorts in public. At the beach i believe they require men and women to swim at separate locations. Right now the people of Tehran are not allowed to go and seek safety in the countryside. They haf to remain in Tehran. Theres definitely a difference in the degree of freedom experienced in some countries.

In Iran the cops can come and knock on your door if they suspect you are having sex with someone and the two of you are not married.

Well I don't know about having to remain in Tehran, it's a war, militaries have temporary rules like that all the time. 

Yeah nowhere in the Middle East are men allowed to wear shorts. And men and women are separated in things like transport, mosque, even at dinner sometimes 

Iran has 245 flavors of Ice Cream and America has 249 flavors. Lets bomb Iran

Btw a man and woman can't even be in the same house together alone without marriage so it wouldn't even get to that point where the cops come knocking. Basically the opportunity would never exist at all

Im saying governments are small and people are big. If you really REALLY want to do something. You will figure it out. You are playing around with choices. Once country has 500 choices and another has 495. Big whoop

I still dont think you realize that the majority of Iranians before the Islamic revolution were more like westeners in their outlook. And any attempt to overthrow this government from within would simply have resulted in loads of civilian deaths. They would have no problem killing a revolution very quickly. How many revolutions have you taken part in ? Why dont you just tell the people of Russia to overthrow Putin too while your at it.

Nobody is "western in their outlook" except the West themselves. Show me one non western country that actually behaves like the west

You know in China the women wear skirts but they are not western? 

Like I said do a regime change in Iran. But it won't start a liberal revolution in the Middle East. The Middle East is so conservative even it's liberal aspects are more conservative than anything in the West

What's the percentage of Iranians who don't want it? Whats the alternative? Even if you remove the government or the Islam the region is still conservative (for example christianity acts much different in these countries than you would see in usa)

@Wilhelm44 Look at just the first page of this section of the forum. I am sure if I keep going to the next pages there will be more. When I see all these complaints that citizens make of their own country I NEVER think that it's somehow my position to go in and slaughter them all to liberate them and then change it into a "better, less draconian way". World police is just colonial supremacy in disguise. Caring about the alleged lack of freedoms of another people is just an excuse to have your way with them

The alternative would be democratic elections, Iranians can then elect a more civilized government. Once again, im not supporting Israel's actions. Im simply saying it could be a blessing in disguise for the people of Iran. (Look im not sure of the exact percentage, but its definitely a huge majority.)

No shorts. That’s wild. I‘m going to wear shorts today for the Iranian men. What’s also wild is that places like Iran have one of the highest amounts of plastic surgery, nose etc. Which makes no sense, no shorts but plastic surgery? Also when i was in Istanbul saw a lot of Arab women getting nose jobs.

Yeah, apparently they have some of the best plastic surgeons in the world. Also i think there's no bars or night clubs. So people have house parties, and if you want to have a drink, you call a guy to come to the house, and buy alcohol from him the way you would from a drug dealer.
